Both Archaeology and Necromancy are capped at level 20 for F2P. You should b able to find Necromancy fun at cap it within the first 24 hours of its release too the coming Monday.

I don't know if Daemonheim Archaeology has anything to offer to F2P pures, but I am pretty sure Necromancy has a lot more to offer than Archaeology to F2P as all kinds of existing mobs open to F2P pures now should be open to F2P pures. In the very least, you will have totally new combat style to enjoy.

Archaeology, to me was great fun... I think within 6 months I reached 200m max in three accounts. If Necro is anywhere as good, then I'll be as happy as .... however, I won't be rushing it, new skills come out so infrequently, so I'd rather take my time.

Good for you to have 50 Archaeology, and the head up I provided is you will need 76 Aechaeology for a Necromancy quest. I see you are getting there.

Quests are also an important factor for your "rank 4 ironman vs rank 400 main" updates as some quests may take longer for IM. I don't know about the Necromancy quests yet but I believe it is the usual general cas, IM will be disadvantageous.
