Fact, officially from Jagex regarding RS3, its members status and Premier Membership with rich rewards:
"90% OF PLAYERS RIGHT NOW ARE MEMBERS
BEST VALUE PREMIER MEMBERSHIP WITH RICH REWARDS"
https://rs.runescape.com/en-GB/membership
When 90% of RS3's player are happy to get membership, and this is likely because Premier Club is rewarding in RS3 is one of the factors, why do they want something "2007 Runesape" and care about their players playing 8 to 12 hours on 12 alts to buy OSRS membership?
RS3 players can fund their own membership via in game gp, and play their own game with their preferred content totally at their own discretions, why do their have to care about laboring and sweating 8 - 12 a day over 12 alts in OSRS?
RS3 and OSRS (or 2007 worlds) are totally different animals. Different animals live in different habitats. Not animals are equal. Some animals live in a 90% favorable environment on top of the food chains. Some animals may prefer to live in a totally horrid environment working their tails off and running scared from predators. How do they want to live (or die)? It is totally their choices.
If you really are serious and wanna hold a constructive discussion about your plans than you should change your OP to this ...

My friend, Jagex didn't turn OSRS into RS3. OSRS now is totally different from RS3 now and then. OSRS in 2023 can't even be called an MMORPG anymore. None of the DMM, Leagues, GIM, cookie cutter preset loadout pvp minigames like LMS and Emir Arena are typical MMORPG content, let alone RS3 content.
For players who are actually interested in old school MMORPG, perhaps they should ask OSRS for remastered RS3 old school content in their game rather.

Do you really think that Jagex is hiring new young employees to pamper 'dead content' somewhere in a corner of the office?
no, for the reasons i've listed, that you call complaints. that should be obvious but apparently it's not
Jagex is hiring new employees to build a future for the gaming industry as they did with RuneScape, something that carry itself into the future.
You want to stagnate development of the gaming industry and what does it do for you?

my friend, the point flew over your head. jagex met the demands that people like me wanted and will forever complain about, and then changed their mind when they realized the game was more popular than rs3 and then they turned it into a glorified private server mutation of itself that will one day meet the same fate as rs3. so my point stands. gamflex giveth, gamflex taketh away.
their best update will forever be removing 6 years of updates with the release of osrs, it LITERALLY saved them

lets not even get into how much of these games is actually DEAD content or virtually on life support because their priority is milking you with novelty. theres places in rs3 that look 2008 still. hmmmm i wonder why
