Well said, Poppy.. And it's nice to hear from you again.. I was also glad to be able to speak to the guys in VT's new cc "Lost Souls."
I wished them every success, and I really meant it.. I have been saying for a long time now that LS should be independent in a world of it's own choosing.
Whether LS plays Soul Wars or just does events, it should be for their own enjoyment, and not in support of some Napoleonic dream spun by others.
If Lost Souls remains independent and dedicated to the service of its own members, I will support them in any way I can.. As you well know, I have been advocating peace for a long time now, and it's only reluctantly that I have had to be a "roving troublemaker."

Well, the game should be fun for all, otherwise why play it? A lot say it's just a game, but I wonder if they really believe it.
And it's a war too. Based on medieval warfare. There has to be a reason why so many of the characters are running around with weapons in their hands.
But all of the high level clan activity makes it hard for low levels like myself to gain as much xp in such a crash-prone environment.
Even when we get off in a world by ourselves, some high levels will bounce in to spoil the fun. Jagex has just created too many extra powerful weapons we don't have access to.

It's pretty clear you don't know your pre-Sw Ancients Soul Wars history so let me share a little with you.
The World Alliance chose to kick out W2's clan (one of its founding members) without taking time to inform them, shortly before crashing the clan on w2.
The World Alliance time and time again chose to bully smaller worlds out of functioning because they wanted to be the single operating group of clans.
After a while, a prominent member of the clan on w2 founded Sw Ancients and bit back, eventually leading to the destruction of the World Alliance.
Your leaders exhibited overconfidence and arrogance thinking that they were, for sure, the biggest kid in the playground. They weren't.
tl;dr World Alliance were bullies and got gf'd by the smaller clans they picked on.

I should add, in closing, that your posters from OA seem like nice guys - but I'm genuinely surprised you make the WA out as some sort of heroic victim.

Your alliance is made up predominantly of former WA clans...
Do you not see how failed of logic that is to say "We hate you bullies!" Then ally with them.
I suppose the Obbys are the only bullies left because we chose not to ally with you, aye?

From what I've read -- that belief is the exact same which caused SWA to hate us in the first place.

Well, Nem has left a few things out of his history.. Lost Souls came to W2 because of a trade with SWL, exchanging W6 for W2.. We were once known as Soul Wars 6, then SW6, then SW6ls, and it goes on.
It was our founder Tera that brought us Lost Souls into the World Alliance, the purpose being to establish some order among the existing clans, and to throttle down some of the crashing that had happened from time to time.
The alliance seemed to work well, until Laila, aided by her friend Mama, began to deliberately crash and provoke WA.. Laila had been protected from the wrath of WA by Lost Souls, and enthusiastically pledged her whole bank in support of our clan.
Some of us objected to her provocation of WA.. Her enthusiasm for LS suddenly wained.. I remember reading her quit post.. Laila left and joined forces with Kingsantiag0, and I think you know the rest.
Mama stepped down as leader at this time, and dropped the job on Esploratore.. WA retaliated with some justification.. To her credit, Espy turned WA back.. World 2 is hard for large forces to play in.. If we Ardents seem to favor WA, it's because we were all once World Alliance.
There's more, but I think you've heard enough.. :D

kameltoe why don't you go read a book about the american revolution? How did the Americans win ? I assure you it was not at the battle of New York (Washington's greatest defeat) aka April first. How did Washington win? he made the war a brutal war of attrition why did swa leave w44 we made it a brutal war of attrition.
