Well, I guess the craziness has begun at last.. I logged in to OW to do my nightly run in Soul Wars, and found myself standing next to Laila.. I was puzzled why she wasn't in game, but as it turned out, she knew something I didn't.
I had no trouble getting in game, and over to our grave.. Then I found out Laila's secret.. My screen immediately froze.. It is a tribute to the brilliance of Jagex's programmers, that they have found a way to lock your screen, yet keep the "activity" bar steadily marching toward zero.. GF, Jagex!
I desperately clicked on the surrounding bones in a futile attempt to raise my bar -- no avail.. Shortly I was standing in the exit graveyard, listening to Nomad: "You left a game of Soul Wars early.. yap.. yap.. yap.."
And SWA's leaders want everyone to play SW in an environment like that.. They have clearly lost their grip on reality.. Even the spam freezes.. This has actually become comical at this point.. If it were me, I'd hop worlds and let them fight it out with the noobs in w44.
IT: Remember I told you SWA has mods that play with them and support their mad schemes.. You can expect to be muted or even banned from time to time.. Jagex is on their side.. Good luck with it.

Yes, Barely, you did misunderstand me, and I accept your apology.. And, Yes, it would be a little bit loony to blame Laila for the lag.
I was just assuming that she knew about it and was avoiding it.. But I am sure the extra players in w44 are not helping it much.
