Please find below my request on behalf of our clan to change the clan ownership.

According to Rune Clan, our clan leader’s last achievement was on 27th February 2021, and we have taken this to be her last log in. We are a clan of just shy of 400 users, with about a hundred regularly active. There have been no sightings of her having logged on. We know she is alive and well through social media, however she has not attempted to contact us about the clan, the game, or returning to the clan; and we have had no communications with her in-game since the 23rd February 2021.

We had a clan split a couple of months after she became absent, and so we were left with only two of our deputies, myself (JimmyMFP) and the other, Gezy. Gezy and I have agreed that I should take ownership, as Gezy is chaotically busy irl. Out of courtesy I extended the voting – as outlined that there should be a vote by Jagex rules of Clan Owner transition – and of the six Overseers, five voted for me, whilst the other abstained for unspecified reasons. Gezy is happy for a JMod to contact him directly in-game, or via his associated email address, to varify the vote result; however, he is rarely online, so be aware of this - as stated, he is very busy currently.

Please contact me in-game, or via my associated email address, should you - JMods - need anything further. I believe I have met the criteria for clan ownership transition, and we as a clan look forward to the transfer.

Owner "kieran fisk" created the clan 14 December 2014 and has not played RS in 6+ years. Before he stopped playing, he invited to the clan and promoted "Hecate 2" to Deputy Owner. Hecate 2 invited me to the clan and promoted me to General circa 2016. Hecate 2 stopped playing 3+ years ago, leaving me as the only active member of the clan. As the only active member left, and holding the highest rank possible for not having had the opportunity to be promoted to Deputy Owner by the Owner himself, I believe I have shown enough supporting evidence to have the clan ownership transferred to me.

This is my second post requesting ownership change. My first post was made on 26 September 2018 and can be found on the bottom of page 92 of thread: 135-136-684-65507718

Mod Poerkie responded to my request, and others, on 5 February 2020, which can be found on the bottom of page 101 of the same thread. She cited my non Deputy Owner status as reason for denying my request.

As described above, because of the inactive Owner and Deputy Owner, my situation is the same as it was when I first requested ownership change three and a half years ago. Given the span of time since then, and my continued dedication to the clan, I believe I should be reconsidered for the new Owner. This is a small, F2P clan of only 10 members, of which I am the only one who actively plays. I know Jagex has their procedures, but if ever there was a time to make an exception, I believe it would be this.

I've made this post on the previous Inactive clan owner thread by Mod Poerkie that's now deleted, in the same thread Wobbegong has posted above. Ohms (the other deputy owner) had agreed to my request to get leadership. I am more than happy to get his approval again when he logs in.

Additional Information: Hi, ty for starting this back up. We have been waiting for a few months to get the leadership transferred to me after our clan leader disappeared during Covid. He has been gone over 1 yr now. Any help would be great, we want to move on but can't with the restrictions of me being only a Deputy Owner. My clan is behind me as Clan Leader! Glad2bhelp Clan on RS3, helping people for years with no mandatory anything. MRC clan on OSRS.

Update:

Our current clan leader (Dixie Pixiee) has come back, and is rather 'devil may care' about her absence, and wants to return to how things were before she dropped all communication with the clan members, in-game and irl, as if she hasn't been absent for over a year. I've explained to her that her absence has caused issues in the clan, including a split, and the admin of the clan has been left inadequately done, whilst I and the other leadership roles in the clan who've remained active, have tried to cover these issues.

I still want to push forward with the change in clan leadership, even through she has come back as of today (11th March 2022), she is still 54 weeks absent, which is 2 weeks over the absence threshold. I have asked her (and explained how to do it to her) to make me the clan leader, however I do not expect this to happen. She is yet to actively dispute clan leadership, because she is pretending to ignore it.

Please continue with the transition of clan ownership, which I began our clan's application for this change on 27th Feb 2022.

Hi, I posted here to get clan leadership from Richy. Someone made Nin the clan leader and he no longer plays. I am not sure if I can reach him anymore. Can you put me in as clan leader, as requested and in case, I can't reach him? Not sure why he was put back in charge, honestly. Glad2bhelp Clan on RS3, helping people for years with no mandatory anything. MRC clan on OSRS.
