HOW TO CHALLENGE ANOTHER CLAN


Step 1:
Find the ladder you are participating in (ladders are on page 2) and pick the clan you want to challenge

Step 2:
Make a new declaration thread in the Clan Warring forum and fill it out as explained here. If you are unsure about this step, leave a post on this thread to ask for assistance.

Step 3:
Make sure your opponent knows of the declaration by some means e.g. contacting them in-game or posting on their thread.

Step 4:
Wait for your opponent's response and negotiate if needed. 1 week maximum is allowed for negotiation, starting from the creation of the thread. The date of the war must be within 3 weeks of the creation of the thread.

Step 5:
If asked to, clan-teams must post their memberlist on the declaration thread at least 24 hours before scheduled war time.


IMPORTANT NOTES

- Clans may declare up to 3 ranks above them in a ladder.
- Declarations made earlier are given priority over those made later.
- Clans that have fought cannot declare on each other again in the same ladder for 7 days since the scheduled time of the war that was fought.
- Further rules on immunity, anti-immunity and setting up a war clan be found here . -

Here is an example of a declaration thread. The

parts are explanations, remove them when posting. Edit the rest of the content to fit your war.

HOW TO RESPOND TO A CHALLENGE


Step 1:
Find the war declaration thread posted by the clan challenging you.

Step 2:

- Post on the thread saying you accept, start negotiating or decline the war within 3 days of the thread's creation .
- If you accept but do not agree with the terms, make a post suggesting new terms.

Step 3:
Both clans have a week maximum to agree on terms, from the creation of the thread. The date of the war must be within 3 weeks of the creation of the thread.

Step 4:
If the war goes ahead, clan-teams must post their memberlist on the declaration thread at least 24 hours before scheduled war time (except in the Warband-style ladder) if asked to by their opponent.


IMPORTANT NOTES

- If a challenge is declined the challenging clan automatically wins.
- If a clan declines 3 challenges in a row, it will be moved to the bottom of all ladders it is in.
- If a clan neglects to respond to the challenge within 3 days, it will forfeit the war and move down 3 ranks in that ladder.
- If a clan neglects to respond to 3 challenges in a row, it will be removed from the RSW.

HOW TO RAISE A DISPUTE


If you notice your opponent is breaking the RSW rules, you should:

1 - Let an actionary council member know you want to file a dispute within 24 hours of the end of the war .
2 - Gather evidence of the offence to present to the Council.
Note:
For the Council to make a decision, the evidence provided should not be open to multiple interpretations. Evidence should have a timestamp and show context to be useful. Ideally there should be no editing at all; screenshots should be of the full screen.

3 - Your opponent will be asked to present evidence to defend their case, unless the offence took place solely on the forums.
4 - The RSW Council will then confer and make a decision using the evidence provided.

Not following these guidelines may prevent the Council from taking full action against the offending clan.



PUNISHMENTS


If a rule is proven to have been broken, action taken will match any punishment specified as part of that rule. If no punishment is specified, action is at the discretion of the RSW Council and may include, but is not limited to:

- Banning a clan or player from the RSW (for a certain amount of time or for some number of matched wars with a pull of 10 or over)
- Temporary removal of the right to immunity
- Temporary removal of the right to challenge (anti-immunity)
- Replaying a round
- Forfeiting a round
- Forfeiting the war
- Being moved down several ranks
- Temporary or permanent removal from the RSW
- Other


Leniency:

- Leniency may be given to beginner clans until their beginner status is over.
- There may also be some leniency if a rule is broken to a minute extent.
- The degree of leniency is at the discretion of the RSW Council. -
