only reason i logged on to be honest is to see about joining a fantasy football league with you guys lol. What is legacy anyways? i don't know a thing about it.

I haven't even touched an online gamed since we were playing LoL together for that short period of time, which was what 8months ago? haven't solo gamed the entire summer either, i've just been busy i guess.

Who all is doing legacy warring anyways? I would love to catch up with some people if the right people are around :)

So lets get to the topic of football. Division Predictions? Here's Mine

AFC

Afc East Winner - Patriots 11-5 They will have a good year, but teams on the rise will keep them away from the first round bye, plus Brady is getting up there in age and they really have no running game.

Afc South Winner - Colts 10-6 This is a division with dominant defenses and this will trip them up, plus like the patriots the colts lack a running game.

Afc North Winner - Bengals 12-4 This is a really weak division. The browns are all hype, the ravens have no running game, a washed up D, and an overrated qb in flacco. The Bengals losses arent as bad as people think. The new O-Coordinator Hue Jackson is a run first guy. He won't have Dalton throw 30 and 40 times a game like Gruden did. I expect Bernard to be way up there with league leaders in rush attempts.

Afc West Winner - Broncos 13-3 Strong division but the Broncos are too dominant on both sides of the ball. Only worry is the running game, but I can see Montee Ball breaking out this year.

Wild Card #1 - Chiefs 10-6, I see them having another good year, but a few more losses due to the Chargers and Raiders kind of being on the rise from this past free agency/draft.

Wild Card #2 - This pick is a gamble but it's the only realistic option with this conference right now. Bills 9-7 They've got an amazing D, two explosive halfbacks and they've added big targets for Manuel. It's going to be an up and down year but I see the Bills backing in.

NFC

NFC East Winner - Redskins 11-5 I see a huge comeback year from Rg3 and the defense will look sharp as well.

NFC South Winner - Saints 11-5 This division is really tough and it's hard to determine a winner. I'm sure more than one team in this division will make the playoffs, but I feel the Saints filled more holes this offseason that anyone else in the division.

NFC North Winner - Packers 13-3 The offense will really carry them this year, Lacy will have a huge pro bowl season. Maybe even a shot at the top 5 rushers list?

NFC West Winner - It's a toss up, but this pick is going to shock a lot of people. Cardinals 12-4, The defense is stronger and I think the offense will pick it up. Defense wins championships and that's going to happen with this team.

Wild Card 1 - Falcons 10-6, There is no reason for this team to miss the playoffs this year, they will bounce back more than anyone else.

Wild Card 2 - 49ers 10-6, this team has had a lot of injuries/drama going on since the playoffs ended, they'll still make it but I don't see them making much noise.

Teams I left out: I'm sure people will be surprised by some of the teams I kept out of my predictions:

Seahawks - Lost too much talent with Rice retiring and Tate leaving, Also with Lynch holding out there's just too much going on with this team.

Bucaneers - Yes they've made some big moves but starting mccown is stupid. He had a fluke season last year just like the year Derek Anderson had with the browns.

Eagles - Their division has gotten stronger defensively and I just don't think their own Defense can compete.

Giants - No running game, not the best defense either.

Alright let me give you mine then Adam, I agree on points.

AFC East - Patriots 12-4 Patriots have 6 games that aren't free wins on their schedule, improved defense means they should still be top 3 in the AFC

AFC South - Colts 10-6 Colts have holes in their roster they still haven't fixed. If Richardson doesn't bounce back they're really screwed without Donald Brown.

AFC North - Bengals 12-4 No reason to think Bengals won't be 6-0 in division this year. If I could trust them to win the big time games I might've put 14-2 as their schedule's really easy.

AFC West - Broncos 12-4 It might look like I'm predicting a 3 way tie but I think Denver will have head-to-head on both NE and CIN. So why am I predicting 12-4? This is a strong team but they will be tested almost every week (only Oakland and St Louis had losing records last year and we know the narrative behind the growing Rams) and Denver still isn't 100%.

Wild Card 1 - Chargers 9-7 I think the wild card teams will look a bit shaky this year. Reason being the only two teams I feel are at wild card level both have hard as **** schedules. I might have dropped the Chargers out if Brandon Flowers didn't fall into their laps but that filled their largest need and made the team a lot stronger even if he struggled last year.

Wild Card 2 - Chiefs 9-7 Chiefs will make it but they're a 1 trick warhorse, despite the Chiefs putting up 44 without Charles or his backup they needed to add a weapon in the offseason but instead they went for another pass rusher, which is weird.

NFC North - Packers 11-5 If Lacey avoids the second season slump then all they have to worry about is their sub-par defense, a lot of shootouts in this division this year.

NFC West - Cardinals 12-4 I actually have to agree with you, the Cards were 3 points from the playoffs last year and only look stronger now. Carson Palmer doing as well as he did in this division last year means great things for their offense who just needs to slug it out in this dogfight of a division. To reinforce my pick here the Cardinals went up as far as strength this year and the 49ers and Seahawks both look a bit weaker than last year.

NFC East - Eagles 10-6 You don't have to be a good team to win the NFC East, you just have to be better than the Cowboys. And yeah every team here is better than the Cowboys and their defense, but the Eagles are going to win more shootouts than the Redskins.

NFC South - Saints 11-5 Will Champ Bailey ever come back to form? Will the Saints have enough weapons to put up points on the offensive side? Lot of questions surrounding this team I feel, but less than the other teams in that division.

Wild Card 1 - Panthers 10-6 Panthers can win games putting up 10 points on a regular basis. If they had added a receiver in free agency I would've felt good about their chances but they should be competitive in the playoffs. Only playoff team last year without a 1000 yard rusher or receiver so they shouldn't drop too far.

Wild Card 2 - Absolute dogfight here. Seahawks 10-6 NFC West teams have a dogfight on their hands. And drawing the AFC West? Whoa. So many primetime games between their two divisions this year. I think Percy Harvin returning to form will boost the Hawks offense enough to where they stay wildcard despite a lot of loss and the distractions this year.

I kind of picked the wildcards out of a hat but I think the Panthers D is just too strong.

Also gotta add the so close teams of the year cause there's always at least 2 teams 1 game off in week 17.

Redskins - Final 2 weeks of the regular season are gonna be a race for the NFC East like always. Redskins will be close but in the NFC East it's all offensive power and I think the Eagles just have a better pace.

Every NFC West team not in the playoffs - As much as I hate the 49ers every NFC West team is really strong from the looks of it, so whoever doesn't make it will be sad.

And here are some disappointments.

Jets - This was easy to write. But even getting a stronger roster I doubt they'll make it this year.

Dolphins - See above

Bucs - Because their roster is strong but their organization seems like a mess right now.

quick question about the cardinals, why do you both think they are going to be #1 in the Nfc West division? i respect your opinion but i have to disagree. Every unit on defense this year is weaker to me than last, aside from the secondary.

Their second strongest unit last year, the linebackers, lost Carlos dansby and Daryl Washington. Dansby, who had an amazing season, to free agency and Washington to PED*. One of their other starting linebackers, John Abraham, who is 36btw, had a DUI and might not even start off the season. Thats 2, maybe 3, out of 4 starters from the linebackers that won't be playing or miss significant time. Aside from Calias Campbell, Im not particarly excited about that defensive line which looks pretty average, and old, to me.. If you're a cards fan, i would pray for good health on both the defensive line and linebackers because they have little to no depth there.

And then you got that amazing secondary..

Okay I wont lie, Antonie Cromartie, Patrick Peterson, Tyrann Mathi*u, the potential of rookie Deone Bucannon, and the good but not amazing Rashad Johnson kind of scare the **** out of me.... Easily the best 1-2-3 cornerback tandem in the NFL and a potentially good pair of safetys.. but i can't get past the fact that the front 7 looks awfully weak on paper. (its important to note that Tyrann Mathi*u will play FS on normal packages, then will slide to slot corner in Nickel with Tony Jefferson taking over FS, who is also pretty solid). If any injuries happen the starting front 7, you have the potential for disaster.

I'm not saying this defense isn't good because it will be but to say its the best in the west? Sorry but im predicting the 9ers hawks and rams to all be better defensively.

And if you think Carson Palmer is going to carry them into the postseason.. I'm not going to argue with that I'll just laugh at you :)
