Idk how f2p used to be so I'm guessing it's the same. Only thing I hear ppl complaining about aee the flashing of ppl to the point where depending the amount of ppl in an area at a time ppl go invisible. It's random and quite upsetting. Other than that, I've seen a lot of complaints about ppl coming in crap gear and essentially 1iteming. But that's mainly due to a stupid as **** crash war which doesn't honestly prove anything.

Adam is right about p2p. I had a few PR members join Exi and they were completely put off by spear stacking. It's to the point where if you can get off enough spear specs on someone (without consequences of doing it too quickly or needed to remove your shield) you can disallow someone thr ability to eat food or pot indefinitely.

It's a terrible blemish on the game, that'll only remain in the game because of ppl who abuse thr mechanic which isn't functioning properly.

1 iteming is nothing new lol. I went into wildy with GB a couple times before EOC and they were still out there. That's been a thing for years. Flashing in and out though I could see how a bug like that can effect f2p, sounds like a problem.

You would think something like the spear stacking would be hotfixed within a week, you're more than right about it being a blemish it's an outright problem. It's pretty much mortifying that that still exists.

Kind of thinking lately on what's healthy for game design (not that I'll end up being a designer or anything but I like to dabble with RPG maker and Mario Maker and things of that nature in some of my spare time) and that is definitely on the opposite end. What fun is it to just be taken out of any chance to contribute by being cc chained to death without any chance of tanking or counterplay period? Literally make no sense that that is still in the game.

I tried to sell it to my ex PR members as "it just forces teams to have good MFs"... well that proved wrong once we realized that the Zammy Hasta was 1h and had the same spec as a Zspear. So now players can't get caught out without a shield and they can still apply a spear spec. It's literally cancer.

Also ik 1iteming has been in the game since the beginning of time, but I think that for f2p rsc it was more players in rag gear (addy) constantly returning as they would in a normal warring situation, then claiming the win because the other clan realized that the only one losing anything was them. That's been cleaned up a little bit, but it's still a little cancer.

Calling is better than anyone I've heard tho, granted I was unfortunate to not war at least once under sait or aspall. I always viewed those two as game changers. It's different and more precise but I guess when you're calling 1 out of 80 players when everyone is clumped together you gotta be that way.

Yeah when there's 100 people around you you gotta make sure a lot of people are on the same guy and there's no AOE.

Sounds like one of the issues with the spears is that you would need more mfs so in a 10v10 you'd never have enough people on the pile if you had enough to keep from getting spear spec chained. Again though that should be hotfixed within a week idk what the hell the deal is O_O. Then again being that turrets probably is still laced with loading screens I probably shouldn't expect a fix anytime soon :(

Umm, turrets are messed up. There's a giant turret extending the length of the map with only one entrance, and I don't think you can use L walls properly. So because of that everything is done on plat.... and plat has the portal up against the wall so you can't tank behind it.

A lot of the skill in regards to using the map has been eliminated, also makes calling difficult; however, I've always sucked at calling so I no longer dabble so I may be wrong.

Someone made a vid about it, I would say who but I don't recognize them from pre eoc... or at least when mini warring was happening at a high lvl.

It's Aaro? Idk, he seems to be kinda important/well known now?... idk who he was pre eoc, and I'll be the first to admit I wasn't very limited in rsb pre 2011 so I guess I'm not the best source.

And yeah, the lack of map interaction severely hinders the skill gap between ppl who are good and those who are ok. That and spear specs and hasta being a 1h spear essentially pushed a few ex PR members away from continuing with warring on osrs...

All of that being said, f2p is fun so I don't really mind as much the situation of max cwa... also fallout 4 & SW Battlefield are out so who really cares about rs?

Oh **** yeah Battlefield was today. Whoops.

I can't say I know off the top of my head but it sounds familiar. Then again I'm awful with names so who knows...I should get my head checked out sometime my memory is awful.

I don't see why they don't fix it unless there's others using clan wars? Honestly i doubt that just from remembering how empty it was outside of wars but I could be wrong.

Moses informed my it's the leader of TR. So I guess in regards to 07 warring he knows what he's talking about. By the time PR got big into 10v10s they didn't exist so I'm assuming that's why I didn't recognize.

But yeah they don't fix the spears at least because of the vote they polled for it and ppl said no... that being said I guess ppl who don't pvp + ppl who abuse it are going to vote no
