Hi !!
Great thread and I will be coming back to pick up the bits I have left.
I am stuck o something VERY frustrating. Looking over my 'to do's' for the master cape, couple of bigs, and lots of little loose ends so have been working through them.
There on the list was - Meeting History mini quest.
Now I KNOW I have done this, but assumed I must have somehow missed a bit I spent hours tellying aound trying to work it out with no joy.
So - went back to very very beginning, Making history and it would not recognise first step of Relleka, but did let me do some of the others - not all - and now its led me onto Meeting History. (not all first part is done but it will only let me go where the key leads me).
Any ideas?
(I hadn't got any of the mjolnirs - assume I destroyed them for bank space, and guessed maybe this is why I had to redo it - but it only led me to 2 of them this time (no Al Karid spot to get the zammy one)
The 'easy' bits are taking me longer than the hard bits lol.
Any advice o help appreciated, TY, Mugz
To be honest, I don’t understand much of What you are saying here...
BUT! I did this achievement yesterday, and I also sold and disassembled the three mjolnirs. I did not encounter any problems however. Thus, I conclude that the mjolnirs are not the cause of the difficulties you are cirrently experiensing.
I just felt that key, brought a spade and travelled the world.
Having the lorehound active increases the chance to find certain lore books: Last Riders (One Final Ride), Ripper Demons miner journals (Don't Fear the Ripper), Adamant Dragons (Dragonkin Logs), Monkey clue scroll (Clue's in the Monkey Drool), and Digsite (Sentient Letters).
To unlock this feature, a minimum of 150 quest points is required.
Hello, thank you for your very extensive guide
I'm now going for MQC myself and I'm stuck on the three elite dungeons. I couldn't find them in the guide: did I overlook them?
The problem is the following: I still need the lore books from the first and second boss in every ED. So far I've gotten 0/6 and I don't really understand how (though, of course, it might be really, really bad rng). The chances of obtaining the books in normal mode is 10+X/100, X being the killcount of that boss, according to rswiki. The base chance is therefore 1/10. In story mode, the base chance is higher (but does not increase in any way), but what that chance exactly is, is unclear.
I'm mainly soloing in story mode. I estimate I've killed around 30 bosses dropping lore books. You'd think I'd have at least one book by now, especially when considering the chances in story mode should be higher. Reddit informed me that there should be no chest bug, so it isn't that. So.... Am I doing something wrong here, or am I in any way unnecesarily dropping my chances?

Hey there - You're not blind, don't worry! I haven't got around to adding any recent additions to the cape since before the release of the first Elite Dungeons due to moving from Australia to the UK.
The lore books are completely RNG. I was doing story mode runs with my partner and I got my 2nd ED1 book on the first kill, but the 1st book from the ED1 took me over 100 kills. With the release of ED2 and me catching up with updates, I found out about the
Lorehound
pet from the Quest store which drastically increases the chance of lore books dropping. After using this, I got all ED2 and ED3 books within the first 5-10 kills.
Tl;dr - Use a 'Lorehound' pet from the Quest store to increase your chances a lot.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.

Thanks! I just keep killing those bosses then
Though I'm not sure whether the lorehound helps (wiki says it only helps with certain lore books, excluding ed's), it can't hurt to try

does this guide still up to date? i see last edited time is 2016
and do you recommend doing the tasks by order u listed?
The majority of things listed on this thread are step by step instructions on how to complete each task, so for the most part it'll never need to be 'up to date' unless the content is updated or removed.
As for the order - this thread isn't listed in any particular order, so you can do them how you wish. I'd personally go for all the time gated content first though.

wht do u mean? can u explain more plz?
Well, some tasks for master quest cape, as well as completionist cape have some requirements that take 1+ week to finish, up to 6 months. Some tasks like court summons can only be done once every 2 weeks. It's those tasks that I would get a start on ASAP, and then in between I would work on the other requirements which can be done at any time.
