TzHaar-Ga'al-Kot can be encountered any time after completing The Brink of Extinction, but only after performing the following steps, which are as follows:

- Equip at least one piece of Obsidian armour.
- Donate 15,000 Tokkul to the coffer in the Fight Cauldron.
- Unequip any Obsidian armour, TokHaar-Kal and Fire capes you have equipped. (Having any of these items equipped prevents you from seeing him)
- Equip the uncharged Tokkul-Zo
- Leave TzHaar City with exactly 409 Obsidian shards
- Use a Ring of visibility on a Ring of stone

TzHaar-Ga'al-Kot will then appear, thanking you for finding him. Ask him if he's able to read the Ancient TzHaar language, and he will agree to meet you at the bookcase in the Fight Cauldron. Head back to the Fight Cauldron and talk to TzHaar-Ga'al-Kot. Ask him if hes having trouble reading the bookcase, and he will translate it, revealing information written on the Elder Gods by TokHaar-Hok.

ty so very much but i finally completed it after more research and you helped alot but the actually number now is 586 shards instead of 409 i guess they have updated it but tyvm so you might wanna change that in your notes

The Ga'al shards required are based on the runedate in game divided by 10, meaning it changes almost every day, in order to find the number of shards you need open your port's captain log to find the runedate and divide that number by 10 (and i think it's rounded down as well).

Source is my own memory but checking wiki will say something similar :P . Have a safe day.

Hi !!
Great thread and I will be coming back to pick up the bits I have left.

I am stuck o something VERY frustrating. Looking over my 'to do's' for the master cape, couple of bigs, and lots of little loose ends so have been working through them.

There on the list was - Meeting History mini quest.

Now I KNOW I have done this, but assumed I must have somehow missed a bit I spent hours tellying aound trying to work it out with no joy.

So - went back to very very beginning, Making history and it would not recognise first step of Relleka, but did let me do some of the others - not all - and now its led me onto Meeting History. (not all first part is done but it will only let me go where the key leads me).


Any ideas?

(I hadn't got any of the mjolnirs - assume I destroyed them for bank space, and guessed maybe this is why I had to redo it - but it only led me to 2 of them this time (no Al Karid spot to get the zammy one)

The 'easy' bits are taking me longer than the hard bits lol.

Any advice o help appreciated, TY, Mugz

I cant claim the 5k coins from Caving into the Gains, I went back to Land of the Snow trough the Wizard Tower but I dont see Jack Frost there nor can I claim at Explorer Jack, I checked all the wall paintings again, but nothing.

I cant claim the 5k coins from Caving into the Gains, I went back to Land of the Snow trough the Wizard Tower but I dont see Jack Frost there nor can I claim at Explorer Jack, I checked all the wall paintings again, but nothing. Are you talking to Explorer Jack in Lumbridge, or in the Land of the Snow? Because you have to talk to him in the latter.

I remember having an issue with this and I had to go through the place multiple times to ensure I found everything.
