keep it up, great refresh even for an oldie, i still dont understand why people would still be buying some things though, theres money to be made with almost everything
Here is something interesting. On 2 alts I offered to sell 991 wizard hats (blue) for 10k each. Both logged out for 126 days. One of the alts sold all 991 wizard hats and the other one sold 0.
I didn't know it was possible for one account to stay active while the other one went inactive.

Tested the Grand Exchange to see when offers go inactive. I left an offer in for vials at 2 gp each over 15 days and received 429,279 vials. Which is 7.15 days worth. When I logged into my account the offer did not reactivate. I could still buy vials in another slot for 2 gp each.
In this case I logged back in and my 2 gp vial offer did not continue to fill. When I logged in my offer should reactivate? My offer did not continue to fill upon log in. Although in another slot I could purchase vials for 2 gp each. Is that offer permanently inactive or would it only be active to new sellers? For Ex: if someone came in and sold there vials for 1gp each there vials would go to the highest bid which would be 2 gp. They would get 2gp per vial or would they get 1gp per vial?
If the above is true.
Then would it be possible for someone to buy a partyhat for 1b? Let's say someone back in the early days of the ge offered to sell a purple partyhat for 1b and then left the game. If they came back today and before they had time to cancel their purple partyhat offer someone offered max cash for a purple partyhat. Would the hat sell for 1b?
perhaps, it would sell for max cash. But if that were true why did my vials not continue to instant buy upon log in? In this case its an inactive offer that just activated upon log in. someone who offered 1b-max cash would get the hat for 1b?
I had an experience in the past where I instant bought red chinchompas for 730 gp and instant sold them for 1800 gp. I Instant bought 20k of them for 730 gp and instant sold them for 1800 gp. Right before me a friend of mine did the same thing. One reason that leads me to believe that inactive offers going active only sell to new offers.

Heres a strange conspiracy I have. Earlier today I took out my sell offer for purple mushrooms after around 2 weeks for 30m each. Put sell offers back in for 31.12m ea then nis 1 after 5-7 minutes. I mean... If I never took my mushrooms out of the ge would they have never sold? It's almost like sell offers randomly go inactive on certain items. Would this be true even if account is active?
I need my blue charms back.

Is it true that items sell faster when you're away from the GE?
No.

Does playing OSRS keep GE offers active in RS3?
I'd guess no.

Sounds like you just got lucky/unlucky with the sales tbh.
