Totally forgot to make a post about this yesterday since Heroes' Quest now gives xp lamps and can be solo'd.

Heroes' Quest
- TFK

Entranan firebird - TFK

Ice Queen - TFK (don't use melee or you'll be splashing a ton)


Legends' Quest
- Recoil

Choose the Long and Easy Path to avoid having to kill the 3 skeletons again.

Ranalph Devere, Irvig Senay, San Tojlon - Recoil (cannot be TFK'd because crystals won't drop)

Nez***hened/Demon - Recoil/Poison (Cinderbanes help)


Edit : Updated due to poison, leaving old method in case someone wants to read it.

Recoil with at least 3 Vengers for all 3 times.

You need at minimum 3 unless you have low Defence. His hits are pretty inaccurate even with no armour on...
Anyone can enter the areas where you fight the demon just as long as they have completed the quest already.

I had a test at Back to the Freezer myself, I found the following:

BN , BP , R, TFK did not work - I did not get the energy over at least 30 kills.

FTK did work 1st kill if I was the person who last-hit the killerwatt.

Great thread, everyone! Just wanted to drop in and add some updated information.

Doesn't seem to be possible anymore. The scarab can't be recoiled below 1 hp, and using deathtouch bracelet only results in the 0 hp glitch (feature?). Using Blood amulet to apply poison doesn't help.

Death Plateau

Likewise can't be finished without killing the Map for minimal exp, at least at level 3 combat. You can recoil him to death, but it won't advance the quest. He's immune to poison, too. Using bolas might work if you train ranged, but I'm just a non-combat skiller.

Dishonour among Thieves

I've seen level 3s with this quest showing "completed" on their adventurer's log, but I can't seem to figure it out. Does anyone know how to defeat the armoured zombies in Zemouregal's fortress without gaining experience? It won't let me go up the stairs if I just recoil them to death.

Death touched darts are only way for Dishonour.

For the map you just have to get him to 1lp and kill him, will result in no xp due to such a small hit and his xp being scaled. I found this out on my 10hp HCIM, got partial xp when I hit a 30. Would test with a throwaway account before trying just to confirm. Easy way to get 1 lp is recoil all the way down below 11lp and just let him regen to 11lp, recoil once more and boom 1 lp.

Contact is probably fine with reflect, it seems to solve everything. The 0 lp thing is more than likely a glitch. The desert quest are/were so broken its not even funny. Although due to it being an older boss the xp is probably scaled, so potentially hitting a 1 would result in no xp. He could have also used bolas during it too. I could ask him but doubt he would remember.

Quests in general keep breaking for whatever reason, reflect seems to be the only consistent way to kill anything now. Blackston is a Naabe.
