Jagex should be reverting cannons giving constitution xp! I had asked them a few weeks ago as a question for a Q&A stream.

If you go to the Runescape YouTube channel, find the Q&A stream "Runescape Developer Q&A with Minigame Spotlight Preview!" (uploaded on May 5th) and start at about 46:30, they'll get to my question regarding the cannon.

Wel*, I'm back, good to see this thread still alive and kicking.

Has anyone tried some of the more recent quests? I'm currently trying Dimension of Disaster myself.

It's possible to get a shield and use the reflect ability, and to make rings of recoil. Moreover, the food is stackable, so maybe some of the more advanced quests are possible?

the intro part and shield of arav part are possible for 2 quest points

for demon slayer you have to kill a flying book that wont die via recoils, reflect, ect ect. and it gives experience.
idk about the other parts.

Out of curiosity: has retribution given constitution xp ever since EoC or is it more recent?

I remember that a few years ago I used to solo dungeons by retributing everything, without any xp gain... But I tried to kill the bandits in Diamonds in the Rough by suiciding against them and got some xp (luckily still quite a bit off lvl 11)

EDIT: another random question: is it safe to use super fishing explosives when killing Mogres? They cause 150 damage to mogres, apparently, but I'm not sure if that will make killing them give xp.

EDIT 2: A Void Dance is possible with no xp gain (of course, assuming one has already finished Quiet Before the Swarm). I used reflect + blood necklace on the guardian, and didn't get any xp from Korasi killing her guardian either.

EDIT 3: Any idea on Dishnour among Thieves, and if it is possible, is the upgraded mask safe to use?

I think retribution has given xp for a while.
Not sure on the mogres, can always go into beta and test.
The only issue with Dishonour Among Thieves is the fight with yourself. Don't think anyone has tried the fight, killing the other shadows at the end gives no xp (at time of release). The mask gives xp I'm pretty sure.

Well, that's a disappointment.

Heart of Stone: I'm stuck at the Prehistoric Abyssal, since damage can't be reflected to him... and I'm assuminghe does give xp.

EDIT: based on youtube videos, you do indeed get 51.5 constitution xp... (not 67-something like the wiki says)

Elder Kiln: Main problem here seems to be killing a TokTz-Ket-Dill. Blood necklace, reflect, recoil, etc worked fine on all previous monsters. You can chip away his armour just fine (I used flowers just in case), but he's still immune to reflect afterwards. Based on a recent YT video, killing monsters does give xp.
