So I guess it's time to talk about...
The Deathtouch Bracelet

Dun dun dun...

Any way, I think I'll list a few pros and cons about it first and then my idea if it's worth it or not.

Pros

1. Acts like a ring of recoil except deals around half the damage taken back to the opponent.
2. Does not give xp when used (even on a final blow).
3. Can be used in conjunction with the ring of recoil (and Reflect ability).
4. Can be recharged with a cut Onyx
5. Lasts 10 Hours, no reflect limit.

So overall seems like it's pretty useful huh?
Well... here are some bad points.

Cons

1. Is not 100% chance of activation, I would say around maybe 15% chance.
2. The damage is still very low. But for recoiling, of course this will be the case.
3. The cost of recharging with a cut Onyx.
4. The cost to purchase if buying off the *.*. (I wasn't able to sell it back, I'll explain soon).
5. The cost to purchase using Boss Slayer points.
6. Untradeable when used.

When I activated the bracelet, there was a message displaying that said it would be untradeable. I figured it would only be untradeable if you haven't recharged it. Apparently, it's still untradeable even if you recharge it back up to 100%. Kind of stuck with a Deathtouch bracelet on my main now... So I still figure the price of this is still around 15m+, but damn.

In my opinion, I would say that if you make your own from boss slayer points, it's worth it to trade it to your 10hp'er or maybe even ask your friends to leech a few boss slayer kills. Just remember, this is the one item you won't be able to get rid of.

I tried every variation of TFK etc that I could against the Khazard Warlord, I cannot seem to obtain the orbs. I don't think the quest is possible anymore without gaining xp.

And thank you very much for the Deathtouch bracelet information.

Maybe go back and talk to some of the people? Think I had that issue testing it a while ago, missed talking to someone and the guy wouldn't drop.

I went back to King Bolren, all he would say was something similar to "the warlord is northwest of the battlefield". And in my quest log it says "I should retrieve the two remaining orbs from the warlord."
Not sure who else I'd talk to :3

If I can't find something I did wrong or anything, I think I'll just put off the quest until I get a deathtouch dart and hope for the best.

I believe that person was me. I remember having trouble with that Warlord before. I believed I used the reflect ability in order to make it count. I tried using just recoils and all that, but it didn't work as Andy stated. I wish I could go back and remember my findings.

Tried out One Small Favour, both Slagilith and the dwarves fight on this skiller.

The Slagilith kill won't count with pure BN and Recoils: no drop and the scroll will reanimate the boss if read again. However, after some beta testing, I was able to kill it by recoiling/BN it down to <20 hp, and finishing it off with a melee attack, for about 2 defence xp.

The dwarf gang, however, seems impossible to do without substantial xp gains. Low-health finishers after whittling them downwith BN and recoils still give you full combat xp, and pure BN/Recoils/TFK/FTK don't count towards the 3 gang kills required. Luckily for me, I had wriggle room to do 1 melee, 1 ranged, and 1 magic kill while not raising any combat stats, and Hammerspike only required 3 total kills, not 3 simultaneous kills, to proceed.

Food for thought for any 10 hp'ers/skillers still looking to do One Small Favour.

awesome post antier!

I did the Slagilith part pre eoc when dwarf cannon didn't give hp xp.
It's good to know that it can be killed by min hit for min xp

for the dwarfs I was also stuck... but just last year I go passed them by throwing bolas instead of normal tagging. Unfortunatly that takes pretty high ranged. Reflect would probably work but that takes defence. so i don't see a way around that without some large xp gain as a skiller unless deathtouched darts come back.

but should be simple for 10 hper's

ty ty!

Any help for Underground Pass? I'm at Kalrag, the spider, and I can't seem to get the blood on the doll. I've tried Blood Fury + Recoils, TFK, Resonance and Reflect. Nothing appears to count. Ideas?

(And yes, I've done all the steps needed up to this part, smeared Iban's ashes on the doll)

PS: Page 70, someone said just recoil. Doesn't work anymore, apparently.

EDIT: Friend Target Kill works. No xp gained. Was quite hilarious actually, the other spiders attack you once you kill Kalrag and because the animation of smearing the blood took so long, the attacks stacked and just instantly killed me hahaa. But yes, totally doable.

Ghosts Ahoy - I've managed to bring the Giant Lobster down to about 250hp via Blood Fury + Recoils, Reflect and Vengeance Other. I really don't want to gain any HP experience. Anyone think of something else I might be able to use for that last few hundred lifepoints? Just can't seem to get lucky enough to have Blood Fury proc again

Edit: managed to do it, no xp gained.
