I have heard they hit less than Red Chincompas. I cannot help you further because I have never tried them myself. They are cheaper too!

I'm 83 Range, got 30m to Spend on 99 Range. What shall I buy and how far will it get me? I'v purchased 35k Red Chins for 650gp each.
I'm 80 Prayer, 118 Combat.

Calculating it at 200k experience per 1k Red Chincompas, you would get around 7M experience in Ranged which takes you to 96 Ranged.

Nice guide! I am currently going for 99 Ranged. I have 90 banked, then gotta do some Armadyl GWD for 90-99. . Again, great guide!
