Hello,
first I must say great guide!
It contains all information that would possibly be useful to using red chins to gain range levels. I do have one question, is using the Holy Wrench useful? It slows the rate your prayer points go down but the down side is it cannot be worn so it would stay in the players inventory.
On a le ciel pour limite
Donc on a pas le temps pour les regrets
I'm going for 99 range there too, altho I'm not sure how many pray pots Ill need for 99, (protect melee there), plus I'm also getting 99 mage there with ice burst. (I'll have 95 pray before I'll train these to both 99 btw)
How many pray pots would I then need then for both 99's there?
2k , 3k? more?
Awesomeee guide
I'm pretty sure I've posted on this atleast once before, but for the past month n a half or so I've actually begun chinning. Fastest exp ever ! (well maybe not as fast as crafting but still
) Amazing job w this, keep it up!
95/99 Ranged atm
thank you!
Great guide.
i have two questions for you.
1) How many chins would i need for 90-99 range if my setup was the following:
Either full arma or pernix (haven't decided if i wanna risk it or not yet.)
and the other high-level gear(fury, rangers.. etc.)
along with Extreme Ranges.
2) if i wanted to get 80-90 defence along with it, how many chins would it then take? double?
2) if i wanted to get 80-90 defense along with it, how many chins would it then take? double?
============================================
Well is 90-99 is roughly 7.7M xp. And 80-90 is roughly 3.4M xp. So its not gonna be double.
At a passing glance I would say its gonna be about 1.5 times as many chins, but it could be less (down to about 1.3 times) depending on how you do it.
I personally would train just range until you are almost 96 range (just about 3.4M xp to 99 range, then start training with the defense training style.) This should result in obtaining 90def and 99 range at roughly the same time, and you will have gained the most xp per chin, thanks to you having the highest ranged level without wasting chins.
This is assuming that using the long-range (long fuse W/e) style grants roughly the same xp per chin as a short fuse chin. Without doing any tests on the matter myself, I can't really say.
Just thought I'd give you some of my ranged data.
Start xp- 11,352,992(97)
Final xp- 11,940,304(98)
Total xp gained- 587,312
Chins used- 1,840
xp/chin- 319.2
Equipment used: Full void with deflector + armadyl top, eagle eye and extreme ranged
Cheers
