Hey,
I'm rather interested in chinning 99 range for use at bosses (seeing as I have a chaotic crossbow and overloads already). However, some tests I conducted (full elite void with gloves, ext range, eagle eye) produced less then desiarable results. I was averaging about 70 exp/chin and about 100k an hour (at ape atoll). I suspect my method was the problem.
Could you explain exactly HOW to effectively chin at all?
If not I may be back to cannoning frosts to 99 range. :p

No Keyboards: I haven't experienced Grey chins at all but I can assure you that the Red chins give you more experience thus making it faster.

Void range helmet/gloves, elite void top/bottom, snakeskin boots, ring of life, soul wars cape, guthix book, amulet of fury, and chins equipped.
90 range, potting ext range, and praying eagle eye.
I seem to have a problem with actually having 9 monkeys to hit - I've seen several other guides who say to move the bones around so the monkeys spawn more often.
When I do have enough monkeys, I either kill then faster then they spawn (sitting around doing nothing) or they refuse to conform and don't move into a 3x3 box, preferring instead to line up around me , where I'm the middle of the 3 by 3 box (and therefore can only hit half). When I move into a safespot to get them to line up, they instead line up like:
(me).XXXXXXXX
I really have no idea what to do. For a visual representation of the spot I'm using, check Bedman's guide (external so I won't link)

I see your issue. You are not hitting all of them like you should. That's pretty easy to fix. Simply keep moving around in circles until you get all of them in a 3x3 square. That's why you haven't been able to receive the best experience.
