HELP!!!

My account has been hacked, I haven't been on in over a month.. I went to log in today and an authenticator had been set up by some one other than me... I changed all passwords and just saw I now have a message about botting?

1. I changed all passwords including my email
2. I set up my own authenticator.
3. I've spend an hour waiting on the " end all active seasons" to work, it simply just keeps searching....

my account is logged in by some one other than me, and apparently is botting.....

please knock it off line, I've spent so much time on this account and have never botted... please please help.

Sorry to hear that your account was hijacked.
In order to kick someone off your accoount, you need to reset your password. This locks the account and forces a new password. Instructions: Reset your password

just saw I now have a message about botting?
What does that message read? Does it read that your account has been disabled/banned?

My account has been hacked,
I just played and then the internet crashed for half a day
When the internet came back I could not log in to the account so I immediately changed the passwords (email and runescape)
When I log in today I saw that most of my bank was gone
I think the internet crash was a coincidence**
Can you please restore it to 9/07/2021 my ign is yoyoto5678
(it will be nice if you can see what what happened in the 10/07)

I'm sorry to hear this happened to you. :(

As your internet crashed, one can assume you had the same day participated in one of those bond/money/item/pmod giveaways which are all fake, phishing scams! It could also be your device is infected. I've left some support guides below, but it's extra important that you use authenticator for both email and RS, and have a good awareness of phishing. :)

This is a great thread, thanks for providing this for folks who need some awareness.

Another new step in improving account security would be to add in a password manager to the mix. Creating complex passwords without re-using them will make it much more difficult for attackers to gain entry to your accounts, especially in events of email leaks. I have two products to recommend if anyone is interested in trying out! There are also more services out there that perform similar tasks, pick whichever one suits your needs and you'll never have to worry about remembering passwords :)

ive been temp banned for macroing ive asked several times what it is andhow todelete or remove it. they wont tell me anything. and its very frustrating as i dont want to get perm ban for something i am not doing or something that is going on without my knowledge
im now scared to log in and play for fear that what ever it is that is wrong is still there
jagex support isnon existent and when you do get a reply its useless. i asked what macroing is andhhow to get rid of it and they replied you were macroing.. i went ahead and canceled my year subscription as i still havent figured how to solve this problem. want to play and now dont know what to do.... sigh

@ SPARKYBKC - This thread is about Account Security, but I will try to assist you.

Marcoing is using software or hardware to play the game in ways other than it is intended to be play, such as running an automated script or binding multiple movements or clicks to be performed by a single mouse button or key. The [link url= https://support.runescape.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360016101657]Rules of RuneScape[/link] gives many more examples of what is considered breaking this rule.

I haven't logged into my main account in weeks due to being busy and I get back to on to find an authenticator has been set up without my knowledge and my bank pin reset and all of my items GONE. I've spent ALOT of money on bonds through the in-game purchase and have lost EVERYTHING. I need someone to contact me immediately on Jagex's side. I have no keyloggers, no viruses, NOTHING. And no one has my information except me. There is seemingly no way to contact Jager regarding this issue.

I'm having tbow invader's, and account hijacking in poverty? To try and take several free government mobile ? Due to having untrim prayer's capes? And franchise names which are and should be permanent gamer tags? Authorities do not take this game, seriously? And the game can be solo played, and still judgement, passes through. Torment King
