The Senate and People of Rome ruled by the Emperor, Augustus, rule justly under the sole purpose of Strength, Honour, and Duty. We act with moderation, not being quick to judge, as we expand our Empire through the mentality of making haste slowly. The Legions of Rome march to protect our borders, expand for new living spaces, territories, and resources vital for our continued longevity in this ever changing plane. The Emperor rules from Rome with an iron, but just fist, ensuring the safety of the people will never be compromised. Our Senate administrates from Ravenna, keeping to the traditions of the Roman people, and acting as their voice.

1) Follow all Jagex rules.
2) Conflict between clan mates must be kept at a minimum.
3) Must attempt to make all wars/conflicts!
4) Max out on citadel resources every week.
5) Be active in clan chat and forums as much as possible.
6) Do not undermine SPQR leadership.
7) Lead through example, act maturely.
8) Asking for ranks will not help you raise your status.

~+~ Primary Leaders ~+~

Emperor of SPQR-- SPR Augustus (Augustus): He is #1 and leads the entire empire, he sets the tone and direction the empire goes and coordinates with those under him to achieve effective results for SPQR and our members. The Emperor has absolute authority to veto any other leaders actions and make leadership changes as necessary or practical. Inspirational leadership.

Imperators -- Adam XII, JBroad II: #2 and has the duty of filling in as #1 should the Emperor become incapacitated in anyway. He also is the Prefect of the Praetorian Guards, the elite guard unit entrusted with protecting the Emperor and his family. Great at stopping fights.

Ranks in SPQR are illustrated by those little symbols in cc, I'm sure most are familiar. They are however much more than just symbolic. In SPQR the higher your rank, the higher your power and also responsibility. Basically in the empire you earn rank increases by being actively involved with the Empire and helping expand and improve it. You can also lose rank by being inactive or breaking certain rules. Below are shown the key points of our ranking system:

Rome worships many deities, and they are usually referred by their Runescape names rather than the traditional Roman gods. The following are the gods which we follow, and a reason behind why which god represents what to us.

Main Gods:

~Jupiter (Guthix): All powerful, rules through balance of strength and kindness. Regardless of Guthix's death in the game, we still look to him as one of our chief deities.

~Mars (Zaros): God of War, cunning and manipulative. Zaros is the god we mainly call upon, even more than Guthix on occasion. Reason for him being the God of War and not Bandos is mainly due to the lore of Zaros being more successful then him. Zarosian soldiers are feared by all other godwars monsters, making him the clear choice.

~Apollo (Armadyl): God of the Sun and Skies. Order and discipline is the backbone which keeps our Empire aloft.
