Bump
So, if I understand this correctly r= Square root of(x²+y²) and sinØ= y/r, so I guess that means that cosØ= (x)/r and tanØ=y/x. My teacher doesn't teach us how to do it, he just assigns us lots of work and gives s in-class time to work on it. He says we should figure it out on our own because it makes us "thinkers." Our book is just problems and equations with directions, no examples or models and we have to figure the formulas out. No fun.
