Really don't see where you were getting "hubris" from any of this. This really has nothing to do with sating my/anyone's egos.

When a fly is buzzing in your face, you typically swat it away. I don't see how this is any different.

The reason I said hubris is because I misunderstood what Ryanc meant when he brought up the word pride twice. The way he worded it, it sounded to me as if the nation's pride would diminish if he didn't give this his full attention. That's essentially the definition of hubris: if your clan has to focus all its attention on this "fly" just to feel superior, that's not a positive thing IMO.

However, I now understand that is NOT what he meant, so we're all good here. I didn't mean to say hubris offensively; I'm sorry if it came off that way. I meant it as a friendly discussion, just RJ has gotten on my nerves (which I'm sure you all know about more so than me at this point).

Also you're not swatting a fly away, you're taking a gun out and pointing it at the fly. When it buzzes in your face and keep buzzing, you don't get all of your friends (in this case all of W83) to band up against it. The equivalent of swatting it away would be "Ok sure RJ" and that's all you do. Just saying

By giving RJ attention on this matter, you give him what he wants: authority and/or recognition. He's like a typical school bully; as long as he gets the response he desires, he's gonna keep doing what he's doing. Deciding to war him is exactly what he expected. You've not only validated his place in the W83 community, but you've also validated that he has claims when he doesn't really have them.

Regardless of what anyone thinks here, I don't want any of you to interact with me, as one of the longest people remaining in pocs probably only getting beaten by mattyworrier, draco1 and KV I consider the current poc world to be a curse on world 83 to what poc's used to be.
Adopting the idea that the definitions of Poc's can be redefined just because the new pocs cannot cope with the level of leadership required to maintain a poc that can adopt; guards, shops, religion in some circumstances etc... Lets not forget it is this what initially defined Pocs and was established between dian, worm and parasite.

Okay, I'll respond because I know you're going to end up reading this--reply or not.

Your arrogance is a sign of immaturity, friend. Just because something is different than you remember after a decade doesn't mean it not as good. That's a cognitive bias.

Your actions are typical of a schoolyard bully. You see someone's lunch money (lands), and because you don't like them and what they do, you try to take it from them. So, I fail to see how you are not doing exactly that of a typical 14 y/o bully. You may be one of the oldest POC members, but you're definitely one of the least mature in your actions and methods. That is for certain.

You can't tell people not to interact with you. You are coming back to the world and giving everyone who actually did remain in W83 a reason to dislike you yet again.

Your methods are childish at best. I suggest you re-evaluate your strategy or give up altogether. You are hardly a strategist.

Food for thought: Temember you left. You were exiled when the POC's were as good as what you say you wanted. Nobody once desired your return.

Rob you are a pathetic washed out child who is desperately trying to reclaim a name he never had. You are a stain on this community. Whatever you may think of it, it's current inhabitants have more right to be here than you do because each time you come back you end up taking the wrong approach and getting your teeth kicked in. I wouldn't even say you take the wrong approach. You evaluate the best possible way to work your way back into the community legitimately, and then go in the exact opposite direction.
I'm not talking about turning roughly 179.5 degrees and then start walking, I mean you turn exactly 180 degrees and sprint. I mean seriously an autistic monkey recovering from a lobotomy could figure out where you keep going wrong.

Going back to your length of time spent in the community. Your idea of what defines a POC and how to run it is so archaic that one could argue that you spent maybe a month with us back in 2007. Since then you have come and gone more times than adult sites get views on Valentine's Day. To say otherwise is a direct insult to someone like Mattyworrier who has been here since day 1. I myself have logged more time in this community and been around longer than you could ever hope to lead a clan, including all your previous clans combined.

The only thing you are good for in this day and age is the entertainment that follows your arrival. Now do yourself, and more importantly everyone else, a favor and do not post back on my thread unless it is to relinquish your false claims to my lands. Otherwise I too will begin to call the mods. Apparently you never got the memo, but calling on mods to clean the trash off the forums is not a super power. Literally everyone can do it.
