Did you know that the white patches of skin found on post mortem examination is usually due to Livor Mortis, which is the discolouration of skin due to depletion of blood of a region after death. This is can be caused by hypostatic congestion in which the position of the body can lead to gravitational pooling of blood causing white patched where blood has depleted.

Did you know that the Horse forelimb has gotten lighter due to the fusing of low limb and digits. This has given us a digit number for the Horse of 3-4 where the human has 1-5 counting the thumb first. So you can deduce the horse stands on its 3rd and 4th digit. This lowers the weight of the distal limbs of the horse which contributes to its incredible ability to travel so fast at such a size and weight.
