The Return of Free Trade and the Wilderness: On February 1st 2011 Jagex brought back free trade and the wilderness. This ushered in the return of rackets and other mafia run businesses back into the game.
New Leadership
On February 1st, 2011 Gw Josep1 officially resigned with two years of leading Divine Mafia. Dual leadership was given to Chanman170 and RockisDead. Huge rivally led to Rockisdead leaving the family along with other members to start New Age Mafia. Losses grow within the family and in July Divine Mafia was acquired back to Gw Josep1. Merger and peace attempts failed between New Age and Divine Mafia, in return resoluted into large scale Hit-n-Run attacks against both groups.
With Divine Mafia in distress, Isildur558 and Gw Josep1 merged Divine Mafia and Scarfo Mafia under the Divine Mafia name. The merger put Divine Mafia back into health until Isildur558 resigned weeks after the merger. Attempts by Gw Josep1 to continue on with the Divine-Scarfo family failed and the clan became inactive.
2012
Divine Mafia began work on restoration began on April 13, 2012 by popular demand with aid from former member, Y A N K M E. Relations with the members that split from Divine Mafia and formed New Age Mafia had improved and led to the acquisition of many key members of the family which included the New Age Mafia don, RockisDead.
RuneScape's announcement of the new Combat updates had ended the attempts to progress. July 10th, 2012 saw the resignation of ****igliere Y A N K M E and many followed.
As Divine Mafia and the new Scarfo Family relations grew closer once again, merger attempts were drafted again. Divine Mafia officially acquired Scarfo Family from R O C on August 2nd, 2012 but later announced that the name would be returned to Isildur558.
Facing a depleting of free time**** Josep1 had resigned from his long leadership and named Y A N K M E as his sucessuror on November 30, 2012.
