Hello,

Sound has requested I post on his behalf because he refuses to buy membership. It is as follows:

"I put that Corporal99 was most famous for being King of KOY because in those days I wasn't involved in W83 and I had still heard of KOY's exploits whereas I had not heard of Avalon or anything else, making that 'more famous.' That is not to diminish Corp's other qualities, and others undoubtedly know more about him than I do so feel free to add on.

As for the Zirak, Mafia City, Burgoyne business, those are meant to be three separate things. Wording is kinda poor, though. In hindsight maybe it shouldn't have been mentioned, so I request that Kat take it down.

As for who should be on this list, it's hard to say. It's all subjective ultimately (it also kind of doesn't matter to me, but I figured I'd contribute where I could). The one thing that has bothered me most is that Youyou made this HoF thing and then put his own name on it. In my whole time here I've never seen or heard of him accomplishing anything. I kind of feel like this thread was made to canonize himself in POC history since no one else was going to do it."

That is most probably largely because your whole time here consisted of a couple of years on one world out of the dozen or so that have seen decent POC activity.

I am on the lower end of the spectrum here, although there are some others on the list who have had lesser or equal influence. If we decide to implement stricter (or any concrete) guidelines and I don't meet the criteria then I will remove myself along with whoever else =)

As I said I'm either considering specific guidelines or a council of POC veterans (which I will not be part of or at least not vote for myself) which would review the entire list. Whatever applies to everyone else shall apply to my entry.

I nominated Sound for the HoF myself. We are not the same person. Zaire can confirm this. Believe it or not he didn't really care. His main is forum banned for good so Sound has had to post through Zaire or me in the past, or pay for membership on Sound Reborn which he is too cheap to do.
