The fact that the fc is always overflowing and impossible to stay in for more than a few minutes was brought to my attention by a non rank. Their suggestion was to give Xmas line to pc sof (new years fc) so that quark would be less full. Feel free to express opinions on this. My opinion was that it is unfeasible and unhelpful for both fcs but would post suggestion here anyway.

Personally, I feel that R Quark is busy due to the fact that it is the FC with the items of the highest value, and over time as the banks of players grow, they must find new places to invest their money, and the discontinued rares are one of the most common options. I do not think losing the xmas line would decrease the wait time or the number of FC users by any significant amount.
The new rise in activity is also highly beneficial for the FC as it has brought about new PCers that want to earn a rank so as to not be removed from the FC. We have had more PCing hours per day the past few days than most entire weeks in previous months. This is a great incentive, and if players want to continue to have easy access to the FC which is doing them a service, then a little payback to the FC in return would be greatly appreciated.
So, I'm against the idea of losing the Xmas line. I do not think that the pros outweigh the cons in this case.
