Well upon my return and becoming active once again I decided to join the Varrock Guards under Dally Khan who had just become the M.A.A and was in the process of revamping them, this lasted for about a month unfortunately and then (was a great month of being a guard) he stepped down which ushered in the famous reign of Sam Atraix as the M.A.A of the Guards, he lasted about a week before sweeping all but three members on the Guards, just for the record he gave members only about a two day notice regarding the sweep and then he was accused of stealing a member's Santa Hat which led to his exile from the Kingdom, well during that week he had selected me to be his 2IC and just like that I was back in a leadership position.

Honestly being M.A.A of the Guards was probably one of my most enjoyable moments in the Kingdom, I was #blessed with having great members who wanted to make the guards the best, as well as having a great 2Ic (shout out to Sir Punchula) to aide me , and we went from having 3 members to having around 20-25 and then winning the subclan of the month. I served in this position for a decent amount of time considering the average life span of a subclan leader was the equivalent to flies. A part of me would of been content with staying in this position forever and just doing my thing, but after a while that old urge to constantly seek a higher rank came out from the shadows and once again I was wanting to rank up.

The recruitment lord position became available and I decided to apply for the position, I had faith that I had established the guards to survive without me and they did. I got the job and became a Lord for the third time, unfortunately my job emphasis was on recruit, but meh oh well I did it anyways. I knew that I could only go up from there. This time around it was much easier then the previous times.

I'm not sure perhaps it was because I was more experienced then I was previously, who knows.

The Kingdom of Varrock entered in a troubling time with the Coalition and there was a lot of drama going on with that, I wasn't really involved in the Coalition affairs I preferred to stay out of it so you would have to ask my friend Sound5leader for more details, but I can say that after the Coalition we saw a change in our King Kv, as Maddi said in her earlier interview he began to act irrationally. At this time I had already been promoted to Prince along side Sound5leader and I have to say one of the biggest eye openers for me was sitting in a meeting with all the leaders in the clan (subclan +) and having Kv disagree regarding a subject and then walking out of the meeting entirely, this became a pattern, he would refuse to promote certain citizens for whatever excuse that was given and he refused to compromise and be a leader, this caused major tension and split among the Royal team you had Maddi on one side and Kv on the other. I did my best to stay neutral through most of it but his actions got to the point where it began to harm the clan, royal meetings became nothing more then a dispute ending with him not willing to compromise his way or no way, and everyone was getting sick of it, not just the royals noticed this behavior but so did the members of the clan. In the end action had to be taken.

Many were surprised that you took part in the removal of Kv as you had been one of his closest friends in the Kingdom prior to. Did you do it out of duty, or because you wanted to get King, and how did the situation work itself out to your receiving the throne?

I don't think that I was one of his closest friends, It was true that I was in his POC the Kingdom of Avalon in my beginning days but I didn't interact much with him because if I remember correctly he went on leave, I did get to know him better when he was Prince under Krisimay's reign. In fact he was the Prince that didn't post the sweep phrase that our council had pointed out.

There was no guarantee that I would be King if I went ahead with the Royal team's removal of him, I was the only one on the fence the others had made their decision already, I knew that if we removed Kv there was no doubt that Maddi would ask Sound to be the King, they both had been really close for a while and I wasn't that close with Maddi. I remember sitting there in the clan meeting when Ward brought up the removal of Kv and I remember deciding that if there was a reasonable amount of people who opposed this then I wouldn't go along with it but I saw that almost everyone at the meeting was for it. If I remember correctly no Subclan leader + opposed it either. I went along with it because it was what was needed, my job was to ensure that the Kingdom would be a prosperous place and if he continued to be king it would only continue to decline.

Now did I want to be King? Of course who doesn't. Don't let people in the community bs you, everyone wants to be #1. To sit here and say "no I didn't want to be King, no I didn't want to Prince, no I didn't want to see my name on the Hof" those would be blatant lies and anybody who doesn't want to achieve anything not worthy belongs in Mcdonalds (Wolf on Wallstreet reference). I wanted to be given the opportunity to be King and during that period when Maddi was contemplating who to be King, I approached Sound and I told him that I knew that she would pick him.

I told him to give me the opportunity to be the King of Varrock, he could be the Crowned Prince and that I wasn't going to stay around forever and in no time I would pass down the throne to him, I just wanted the opportunity. Sound agreed. I remember him saying "I can't believe I'm doing this, but I'm deferring the crown to Arios" and then I became the 19th King of Varrock just like that. I'm sure Sound will give more details of this event and add further when he gets his chance at being interviewed :)

The first part of my reign was filled with reassuring people that everything was going to be alright, and that things would change. I remember the Royal team would host meetings during that first week in order for people to voice their concerns, ideas, etc and then we would reassure them that things would be ok. Considering the situation things went over quite smooth after the first week.

I changed it up, immediately Maddi and I restored the Hall of Fame which had seen a sudden removal of names under Kv's reign. Weekly royal meetings were once again established (every Sunday at 6:00am PST, FML) We also returned to the public discussion thread after being on the private ones for a bit. The Kingdom also attempted to seek alliances former members of the coalition that had just declared war on us a few months prior - notably the Empire of Falador and the Empire of Swords. I felt that it was my responsibility to fix things that had been damaged in the months prior. I got a long great with Maddi and the other Royals. My reign wasn't a long one, only about a month and a half, and during the last week or two I became inactive the reason being I became very busy with school (had a rough schedule) I had an exam every week for 10 weeks, and it was very hard for me to balance the two, I made the decision to not let my pride and status get in the way and potentially harm the Kingdom like so many of the Kings and Queens before me so I decided to step down and let Sound become King and bring in a new era for the Kingdom.

Some will regard my reign as King irrelevant, I would like to think that in my time I actually made a difference and did small but necessary things that were needed at the times, I like to think that I helped improve the Kingdom by laying the groundwork for improvement. who knows what could of been if I had been able to remain active. I am grateful for the opportunity that I was given and I enjoyed my time as King, it was a real fun ride.

Well I didn't really log on much during the beginning of Sound's reign due to being busy with school however once that quarter passed I reemerged to give Sound advice and help him when he asked for it. Eventually he leaves the Kingdom after a couple of months and he convinces me to go with him, so I decided to go to the POC Guardians of Seren for a bit, it was fun for a bit, I made new friends (Holo Slays). Didn't do much of anything really. I eventually rejoined Kov and I'm not too active because that summer I went to Austria to study German so I wasn't on a great deal. During this period the whole 18 day suspension and the History thread scandal takes place, I won't comment much on this subject due to not being involved much but I with other members decided to leave the Kingdom of Varrock, I believed that my friends had been treated wrongly and I would stand by them and so I left with Dan and Sound.
