Most people would argue that you were not very calm nor cool, and that you often verbally assaulted members of the W83 POC Community to the point where a worldwide coalition was assembled just to declare war on you. What brought this on? Do you feel like this was all justified?

I think anyone would be right to lose their calm and throw a few insults around if they had awoken one morning to find their thread with the first (nine, I think it was?) pages spammed with irrelevant nonsense. But, the same happened very recently this year where extracts of the Communist Manifesto were posted on a thread I was managing on behalf of a friend, but I realised the errors of how I dealt with it the first time so this time I simply called the mods and did not retaliate.

What brought on the coalition war? I would say a mixture of things. On the one hand, I was very provocative and some of the things produced by individuals in the Republic of Zaros (such as the propaganda videos) were large causes. But also a xenophobia among the POCs at the time against newer clans such as the Republic. The military might of the Republic was very small, meaning that of course we were easy targets for a coalition of major POCs with a much higher, unfair military advantage. You must also bear in mind I was allowed no allies, or that would become a 'forfeit'.

I believe it would have been justified if only the parties concerned declared war. Fair enough if I claimed someone's land and THEY declared war on me, but to invite all of their friends along to have ins on the fun was very unfair. Perhaps some of the things I said were provoking people, but in declaring war you are condemning an entire clan based on the actions of one person. With the added pressure of outsiders following this specific war, the Republic fell apart. But it was also internally unstable enough with all the internal political conflicts, and my looming inactivity.

I enjoy knowing that my humble creations caused such a varied reaction among my fellow World 80-89 POC friends.

Well many people in this particular community do not know what I did pre-ROZ. The truth is I have been making Runescape related videos for almost 5 years. Videos regarding certain clans in particular, be it for legitimate promotion, roleplay or even casual amusement for certain clan members who got a certain inside joke. The skill is easily transferable from POC community to POC community, so continuing my work in the Republic of Zaros was nothing new. It started with my non-clan related Runescape film making company (under Businesses and Services as they were largely W31 roleplayers at the time) around 2009 going into 2010.

I just created videos to attack certain individuals who led clans that had issues with whatever clan I served under. Eventually, I was made Minister of Propaganda in the Kingdom of France and the business of 'Lord Talon Productions' became the militant wing of the Ministry. When King Science, the very great inspiration that he is, departed (who heavily trained me in the art of good clan propaganda making) I was selected as his successor to the role of First Minister. The Propaganda Ministry immediately became one with the First Ministry, and as the Kingdom of France was a very unpopular clan both on World 31 and later 42, therefore I was very busy making propaganda videos so I had a lot of time to learn what struck people's fury and amusement in equal measure.

The biggest inspiration was seeing my recruitment thread spammed for weeks on end by multiple members of the W83 POC community.

Hahaha. Some people say that the entire character of "Burgoyne" is a facade. That you parade around with false indignation but in reality are a very normal person. How would you reply to this?

I don't think a single person I know in real life would tell you that I am a very normal person. I wouldn't call it a facade, either. In person I am much more rude, inappropriate and provocative, but that is the only true difference between the Burgoyne you all know, and the Burgoyne all my in real friends know.

Haha ok then. Were you always a believer in right-wing ideology, or is there a little Che Guevara in you?

Perhaps Left Wing ideas interested me at a time, but that was when I was still relatively new to politics and I didn't quite understand it in detail as I do now. The more I learn about politics, the more right wing I become. And according to various internet tests to determine your political spectrum position, I get a little bit more right wing every six months or so.

Do you find it slightly contradictory that you are an ardent Conservative, but yet are attracted to males? How do you reconcile this cognitive dissonance?

I'm not even a fan of loud and proud fruities. I don't particularly believe in this whole "LGBT culture" nonsense either. Religion does not influence my political views, and therefore it is not contradictory to be attracted to males. If my religious views were mixed in with my political views, then yes it would be very contradictory to be a sodomite conservative.
