Welcome!

This thread is dedicated to the
World 103 Player Owned City Community
. Our goals are to bring back the thriving POC community of the late 2000s and to have fun while doing so! We will try to answer any questions about what it means to be a Player Owned City as well as keep track of our land claims on this thread. If a clan "claims" land in 103 but is not a part of this thread, they will not be acknowledged by any of the clans here; we are a separate and organised community.

World 103 was chosen due to many clans having a large amount of EST players. However, should an event be hosted that is primarily another timezones, a world will be chosen accordingly. This community prides itself on being open with our actions; because of this, all land claims, treaties, and any other documents will be posted on this thread.

What is a Player Owned City?

A Player Owned City is a clan that has a number of light roleplay aspects to it. These can include, but are not limited to: titles, land claims, a hierarchy based on government types, diplomacy, war over land, and more. POCS are NOT warring clans and sportsmanship is our top priority. Land hoarding clans just make the game boring for everyone.

How does my clan become a POC?

To be honest, it is quite easy! As long as your clan is willing to involve itself in diplomacy and has a hierarchy, it can be a POC!

How do I join this community?

Clans joining this community can join with five members, you just need to fill out an application below! The current clans will vote and with a 50% vote, you are in!

Representatives will take the place of a leader on important votes if the leader of a clan cannot attend. Each clan will have 1 Gold key (leaders) as a representative and 2 additional representatives (chosen by each clan regardless of rank). These 3 people will have speaking rights and voting rights during any and all 103 official business (i.e. Land claims, Warring, Resource use, and voting). 1 vote is given to each clan and can be cast by any representative but the Gold key has veto power on any decisions cast by a representative. Clan leaders can be found in the above post. For your convenience, below are the representatives for each clan:

Each POC in the World 103 Community chooses its own Loremaster. Loremasters keep track of the extensive lore behind their POCs and create exciting roleplays based on that lore. All of the Loremasters are part of the Loremaster Council of World 103, which is overseen by the Head Loremaster. The Head Loremaster is elected by the Loremaster Council from within their own ranks.

The Loremaster Council's duty is to weave the stories of the 103 POCs together into an interesting, interactive, and impressive narrative. The Council will sort out any blatant or unfair lore inconsistencies and ensure that roleplay in World 103 is as fun as it can possibly be. In the event of a dispute within the Council, the Head Loremaster takes precedence, and can cast a tiebreaking vote.

The Clan Leaders voted to bring the Loremasters into existence. Apart from that, the Loremasters are completely separate from the administrative powers behind World 103, and they operate on their own. We call this Separation of Lore and State.

There are only a few requirements to joining this community and those are to have a hierarchy set up, to have five members in your clan, and to have an interest in light roleplay. You can then fill out the application below and get into the community!
