Passage six: I didn't mean to trip Artemis
"its been a while since i've seen this much carnage." Godkin thought to himself as he ran past
thirty yards from the portal and burning pain erupted from Godkin's left shoulder blade, he lost grip on the handles, fell back groaning on the floor. Memories of old flashed before his field of vision.
A doctor adjusted tubes and containers, Needles stuck in various places across my body sucking blood and other body fluids out of me...
the Demonlord Artemis Bloodsbane stepped out of the portal with someone over his shoulder.
The test subject across from me screamed in pure agony, hair becoming long and white, "sir he going to make it." said the nurse nearby. "yes he will we cannot lose another one this loyal."
Artemis was only few feet away I was still on the ground. I had to get up, I put my knees under me, but the pain still erupting I extended my hands.
The screaming stopped, the man much larger more 'unreal'. The docotor walked over, "Durial you are my finest creation." The Doctor laughed walked over to me, I was trying to break free but too much of my blood was lost to even budge. "I will need more of you, Godkin"
Godkin regained full vision of the present, a thud hit his side, Artemis fell over, tossing Xul forward. Xul landed perfectly in the wheelbarrow tilting it back but it fell forward.
Artemis' head thudded to the ground now asleep.
Godkin got up dragging Artemis by the horns and leaned against a bloody pile of bodies. godkin got an idea, "its no time for jokes" thought godkin.
Then he look over at Xul limp in the wheelbarrow.
"you've come a long way. i hope too much misfortune doesn't come upon you." Godkin said wheeling off into the woods.
