With the Port secure a large portion of the army marches North under new orders. A_curse_pen, a rather large and fierce looking warrior from the Fremennik lands orders his elven and human rangers to line the cliffs of Arandar and form a defensive position. Back in the capital the Grand Elder issues new orders, this time to Wenu and Eleonoraa, both renowned warriors and experts at PvM;

"As the clans greatest monster hunters I have a very important task for you two. As you know, when Zaros stole the World gate back in the second age the elves lost any way of returning to Tarddiad. Without access to the home world we lost contact with an entire clan, Clan Cywir. Now that we once again control the world gate I would like to invite them to rejoin the kingdom and it would put all our hearts at ease to at least know what has happened to them after all these years. I do not know what you will face once you cross that portal, so be prepared for no elf has been back in a very long time..."

The New Chieftain of the Barbarians

From Falador, General Darius took a small group of infantry towards the road, storming into the tiny village separating the capital from the rest of their domain. As they would breach the walls of the encampment, the Barbarians would grow uneasy. Standing in the center of the town, Darius was not encountering any resistance, so he attempted to plant the Banner of Varrock into the floor. Suddenly, one brave soul stood forth, swinging his spiked club into the air.

Darius, however, was prepared. He met the assault with a shield, the iron spikes of the club sinking into it. Letting go of his banner, Darius would remove a blade from a sheathe on his hip, quickly sinking it into the barbarians stomach before he could retaliate again. Darius met face to face with the brute, mumbling something as the man trembled in fear, blood pouring from his stomach. Darius then ripped his sword out, watching the man fall

The infantry crowded around, cheering for him to plant the banner through the man. But Darius resisted the temptation, planting the banner right next to the crumbled brute, who was slowly bleeding out. The current chieftain watched from the distance, realizing he would only befall the same fate, should he resist. The rest of the village rushed to tend to the man, and the chieftain called for General Darius, in order to discuss terms.

"The Kingdom of Varrock has some odd rulers, but they are kind and welcoming. They welcomed my council and I into their castle to discuss an alliance between our people, but of course I cannot expect an alliance to be made without a deal. My empire requires a more potent source of magic, we require the runes that is found in the west if we wish to defend ourselves and eventually extend our reach to the Skulls region. I offered Lord Darius access to Aminishi so he may speak to the Anagami and he took the offer quite quickly, I just hope he is able to treat this spiritual dragon with respect and that the dragons find him worthy to work along with. With that deal done our kingdoms are bound by a written form with our signatures on it. I know militants of the Skulls are unhappy and see this as a threat but their numbers grow smaller as we are close to securing the Arc."
