Homecoming part 1
The boat came to a halt, and Xul, who had been drowsing off ever since they left the shore of Rellekka, looked up. A big smile found its way to his face. He was finally back home – or at least what he called home – at the island of Neitiznot. Walking along the yak-pen he noticed something unusual. Never, during this time of the year, was the field that good looking. “
Somebody must have put in some solid work here
” Xul thought to himself. Moreover, the boat that were usually on the east side of the Neitiznot docks were gone. “
Thieves? At Neitiznot?
” Xul was getting confused, but his confusion could not remove his smile nor joy of being back on the island.
The first thing Xul always did when he came back, was to visit his foster parents house. It was such a beautiful house. Xul still remembered the day he built it. It was however, like it had been for a few years, empty now.
He then went to see his old friend, Mawnis Burowgar. Finding him in the common halls, Xul found him with an unusual number of kegs and empty plates. The whole place looked like a mess. “
Mawnis! Old pal you look an terrorbird high on tireless run scrolls! What is going on here?
” Xul asked the burgher. “
Ah, Xul great to see you. The Fremennik Tribes were celebrating one of their leaders a couple of days ago. A man known as Godkin. Him and his Tribe, 'The Lykkelig Beruset' tribe. Their leader was here was well. You know her, Syne?
”
Xul’s everlasting Neitiznot smile quickly disappeared of his face. “
THE Fremennik Tribes? The tribal group that has been rising at the Fremennik hunting grounds?
”, he replied. His voice in a much more serious tone. “
That is correct. Will you eat a fine yak-meat supper with us tonight?
” Mawnis Burowgar said again, not noticing the serious undertone of Xul’s question.
Ok good luck
