The meeting had begun.
“I have called you here today because I have a crucial task for each of you to perform. You are to take these diagrams…”
Artemis motions to an impling in the corner with a heaping stack of papers in its hands and the impling hands one to each being present.
“and draw them in select places. Make them as large as possible. We are dealing with zombies of unusual proportions, even by our standards.”
He continued.
“There will be three groups tasked with the preparations of the symbols. Each group will be assigned three guards to maintain and ensure that the work is not disrupted.”
A voice is heard from the back of the table.
“But why we gotta do dis boss? Seems like a waste of time ta me.”
It was Zarr, the youngest of the three Blackout Brigade brothers. Drusir, their leader and the eldest, popped him on the back of the head while Vasron said
“Don’t question the Demonlord you dolt.”
He shook his head at his brother’s insolence.
“Do continue sir.”
Artemis sighed, Zarr was lucky that he had patience for the demon. If it were not for his brothers, the demon would have been sent back to the infernal plane in pieces. He normally would not tolerate such a rude interruption.
Returning to the meeting at hand he started speaking again.
“Blackout Brigade, I wish for you to go to the top of the Zarosian Temple on the Salve River. Draw the symbols with care”
He looks toward Zarr and makes his words as clear as possible.
“…As one error could leave us open for an attack.”
The three demons nodded in unison.
