Upon Diuinitus’ departure from the tower, and by Diuinitus’ order, A copy of his latest journal entry is copied and rushed to the Varrock palace. The wizard apprentice is stopped at the gate of Varrock and without a word hand the message to the guard and leaves. The message is addressed to his Majesty of Varrock Darius Verus, from Archmage Diuinitus and Archmage Sedridor. It reads as follows,

Your Majesty,
Archmage Diuinitus left with such haste that he thought rather than write you directly he copy what he had written so that you may be informed. He will report back to me when he has discovered something. Strength through order your majesty.
Archmage Sedridor

Runedate 5710.14
Considering my recent enlightenment on the undead problem, I sought to investigate this issue further. Writing this from the Wizard’s Tower, I have been given the liberty to act as I see fit by Archmage Sedridor, he shares my concern for the issue. His majesty Darius Verus has not yet sent any specific directions to the tower aside from a general advisory to not interfere with the Varrock guard, suffice to say. Of course, his jurisdiction stretches to the tower yet I still feel that more needs to be done. From what others have deduced this phenomenon only occurs at night, which has led to speculation that the moon is somehow responsible for these violent outbreaks. I shall travel to Lunar Isle, with their connection to the Astral Alter they must have either some information or a theory. If nothing else, I may have to travel to Zanaris itself to investigate this issue. Though I must remain discrete in my visit to not cause alarm. I may travel there through the Cosmic Alter as I usually do. Perhaps. Saradomin be with me. Strength through order.

My apologies Diuinitus, but I can not accept your post as you are not a member of one our community clans. While I applaud your eagerness to participate, please do so through the proper channels. Another note, please do not step on Rnoy's posts as he is the current Archmage of the tower in our community's lore. Thank you for understanding.

Mimring was sitting behind his desk, looking at the recent news regarding the undeads and chuckling once in a while before a specific passage caught his attention, flicking a finger, skeletal hands would bring various tomes from the shelves surrounding him.
Slowly looking at each tome, taking notes on a blank scroll, his speed increasing as the scroll filled with scratchings before he suddenly stood from his chair and shoved everything out of the desk.
"no, no, no, no this can't be possible, no one on gielinor would be so stupid as to... Unless..."
Realization hit him as he kept pacing in the room, with a snap of his fingers he would head to a blackboard and start drawing a magic circle, by the time it was finished the circle was maddeningly complex and what had started from the blackboard now covered most of
the wall, snapping his fingers a skeletal butler would appear from a corner of the room.
"you called, master" the undead stated blankly
"yes, you shall write a letter to every major hold on the world, with a copy of the diagram, tell them to draw it as large as possible preferably in places of high magical power such as the wizard's tower and castle drakan, i don't care how you do it, they MUST do it,
if you have to employ memetic effects to force them then so be it."
"may i ask what is happening, master" The skeleton asked, having served the necromancer for centuries he had yet to see him so worried.
"an idiot started a ritual he can't stop himself, he certainly came across a book of dead names and started a self sustaining spell, if we don't stop it now, the spell will keep on reviving all the deads on gielinor before eventually overrunning it, the spell is
drawing power from the moon, if it reaches a gibbous moon before we stopped the ritual the circles should give us a few days of respite."

As the undead turned and vanished Mimring grabbed his robes and a teletab before heading for Menaphos.
Khan of Goshima, master of the order of the damned.
Subject of the Wushanko empire.

Sweet Dreams

It was a quaint little island, Rnoy thought to himself as he peered out of the window of April's family home on Lunar Isle. April would be sitting at the table with her mothers, explaining the dream she had the night before.

The women were quiet, faces stoic, as their daughter went into great detail of the blood moon and the black void which followed after she used her Lunar Magic upon it. Once finished, the two older women looked at eachother, then back to their daughter. "You are not alone, my dear." Maryana, the elder of the two, would reach over and grasp her daughter's hand, "Everyone on the island has been having the same sort of dreams. Even the Oneiromancer is stricken by them."

Rnoy turned, his brow raising, "That's quite fascinating... What power could this being hold that has risen the dead, and tampered with the Moon Clan's dreams...?" "Well.." Patricia, April's other mother, would shift her weight in her chair, turning directly to Rnoy. "The dreams aren't intential, we don't believe. It's more so a side effect to whatever ritual this person or thing has conjured up." "Yes, you see, with the moon being effected, our clan just so happens to be potent to any odditites that may occur." Maryana added.

"Are the dreams the same as April's, or did they give insight onto what might be behind this?" He approached the table and sat across from the women. "Sadly, no.. The Oneiromancer has taken refuge within her quarters, asking to not be disturbed whilst she delves into the realm of dreams to find further answers." Maryana looked between the group, "And until this is resolved, she refuses to perform the Waking Dream ceremony for anyone."

"I suppose, there might be corruption... And who knows what that could lead to..." Rnoy stroked his beard. "Alas... we are no closer to solving this than we were..."

Then, just on cue, Rnoy's commorb sparked to life. Reaching for the orb, he excuse himself and walk back to the window, "Yes, what is it?"

"We've got good news, and bad news." It was Sedridor. "Well.. What's the good news?" "They've found Mimring. Alive...ish?" "That is good news." Even though 'Alive-ish' wasn't exactly the state he would have liked his old friend, he knew the necromancer could bounce back. "What's the bad news?" "He wishes for us to draw a diagram... a very large one at that... in hopes it'll counter whatever might be going on here."

Rnoy tilted his head, "A diagram... That'd mean he has some clue as to what might be the cause... Did any other information come with the diagram?" "Yes, in fact he did. Supposedly the culprit has begun a spell that he cannot substain... Hence why the moon is like that..." Rnoy's gaze went skyward through the window to see the moon turning more red as the minutes ticked by. "I wouldn't be surprised if the fool himself hasn't been consumed, or at least corrupted by his own failure... Mayhap have to deal with an abomination by the end of this."

"I think you're right." Sedridor's voice was grim, "So shall I prepare the diagram?" "Yes, we'll be there very shortly." "Don't dwaddle." The commorb fell silent. Placing it back within his satchel, Rnoy turned to the three women who had been listening quietly in the background. "Well.. as you heard... we have some work to do." Maryana and Patricia smiled weakly and would hug their daughter. "You be very careful." Patricia waggled her finger at April. Smiling, she would grasp her mothers' hands before moving to Rnoy's side.

"Thank you for your help, ladies, 'tis been a pleasure." Rnoy would incline his head to each and he and April would don their hoods over their heads. Closing their eyes, they muttered an incantation before vanishing into thin air.

The Gates of the castle doors opened slowly. In the opening stood Xul. A few settlers who were carrying some fish up from the docks looked up, and smiled, as they saw their leader exiting the castle - he rarely did. However, their smiles quickly disappeared as they saw the flare in Xul's purple eyes, and the staff in his hands.
Xul floated past them, and carried on into the town of Daemonheim, the gates shut behind him. Tents still made up a large portion of the households, but several houses and shops had been set up.

"Gather up everyone, Xul has a message for everyone!" The town crier yelled out at what now made up the marked square of Daemonheim. After a short period of time, the place was filled by many of the inhabitants of Daemonheim.
"Who were the three adventurers that entered the castle?!" yelled Xul, "I have made it clear many times, that no one is to enter the dungeons nor the castle without my permission."
The crowd was silent as if death himself stood before them, but many shook their heads as they did not know of the trio that had entered Daemonheim. Only the cold northern wind could be heard. Heads were bent to avoid any eye contact.

"I will enhance the walls with powerful magic now, and the crack that was found in the wall has been filled. Do NOT try to enter the dungeons again. And thank you for the good work." Xul said, as he finished his sentance. People now dared to look up, and as they saw that Xul had turned his head, people returned to their daily doings.
"Inform Captain Thor and the watchtowers to shoot down any ships approaching Daemonheim. Admiral Snow Dusken has assured me that the eastern fleet is not headed here anytime soon." Xul told the town crier, as he turned to the castle and disappeared.

People thought it was the outside that was not allowed in to the castle, but what they did not know was that Xul wanted to prevent something inside from getting out.
Daemonheim was on a lock down. The walls turned purple from Xul's enhancements
Ok good luck

The Situation in Sophanem

The sandy streets of Sophanem were swept with a sickness. It wasn’t the plague that plagued the citizens of the Empire – this plague had a name, and it was panic. And as more and more people screamed in terror and horror, the panic spread as the disease it was; airborne, and contagious to all around it. The priests tried desperately to calm the people, but all they could manage to do was give some people shelter against the coming storm.

For the situation in Sophanem, the city of the dead, was quite morbid indeed. The dead for which the city was named were thought to be peacefully resting in the city’s pyramids and tombs until the end of eternity. Yet now, in some sick twist of fate, the dead were now quite lively.

And angry, too. Can’t forget to mention their undying hatred for the people of Sophanem!

The guards scrambled to maintain order, but they were stretched thin. At first it was just a matter of keeping the dead underground – be it in tombs or their pyramid burial chambers. The guards threw up all manner of barricades around the pyramids, switching shifts into the long night and holding the doors shut for as long as they could, but the undead did not need to relent. They have had hundreds of years to rest…there was no need for them to even get a wink of sleep now.

All that was needed was for a few undead to get through to the city. Enough for the guards to put down, but enough for the screams of the people who saw them to pierce the eerily moonlit night sky and echo and descend down every alleyway in the city of the dead, for all to hear.
