I really want to get the ball rolling on this thread. Nothing has really come of it yet, probably because I haven't actually told people about it. ._.
I've updated the Thread of the Week. Remember anyone can recommend a thread for that spot.
I'm having a lot of trouble coming up with event ideas. I really need to just do that raffle one and see how it goes... but in the meantime, I'm going to try to come up with a list of events to give people (including myself
) ideas on the kinds of events they can host. If anyone has any suggestions to put on that list, let me know.

We've held events with 100+ people in game but saw barely any forum growth, so as suggested by clan admins I have slowly started transitioning the clan into a more social, game-oriented clan that officially endorses the RSOF. I appreciate the effort in activating clan events.
I am focusing on what I can do to get Jagex's endorsement. I would really like to start an honest, tell it like it is dialogue with Jagex staff in regards to the forums but every time I try to initiate one the thread gets locked for a superannuated reason. The forum issues we are trying to overcome can't be disregarded, this is what I've learned from 6 months of running this clan. Before we bring in forumers we have to fix the issues that cause them to leave in the first place.

sorry ive been looking for work lately so im not exactly that available.... aside my circumstances, teh kind of information we need for events is as follows is it not?
times people are on
things people enjoy doing
things people want to try
people
if enough people want to try something out im not against doing it despite instantaneous death awaiting me, but need more then 1-2 people for that =c

I said it in another thread, imo these forums need a massive update for better functionality - but if Jagex does finally decide to do that, it will probably take a while for that to happen. In the meantime, if you're not opposed to it, I'd like to continue with plans to introduce people to the forums. It won't bring in a wave of new people to the forums, but I still think it's worth trying for whatever progress we can make.
