A little state of the fc:

Today I demoted 3 of the temp-kranks, triggz, enigmic azn, and sz. I want to thank you guys for helping us out while we needed the extra hands, I'm grateful you guys could be here for us when we needed it. As for the other three, trips, 00jt and markie I am keeping for the time being since you three are often in the fc or helping us out regardless and it doesn't hurt us to have extra ranks to keep the chat moderated.

Next, I've talked with other ranks, and want to discuss this open to the public to see what others have to say. On the issue with ranks and trades over max, I personally think they should be auto confirmed, without the need for the other party to confirm the trade. The point of having us confirm trades is to make sure they are legit, but if one were to have a rank in the fc, that provides updated ranges, it proves you are a trusted individual. That being said I see both sides, payers can feel we "manipulate" prices since they will see an unconfirmed trade taken into account for the range update. So I would like to hear what some of you guys think, we are talking this over in the star chat atm as well and the decision will be made in there and posted here.

Bulky agrees. Usually we don't have a problem with being called manip and whatnot, it isn't as bad as quark, so I don't really see that happening. Maybe on the rare occasion like it does now, but it's not that bad. It gives a MORE accurate pc, because some people just don't confirm. I've asked people to confirm before and they turn pm off... and that's the last I hear from them. I screenshot all my trades so that could be in there to prove the trade actually happened, so it's not "manip" Hugs not drugs!

I recommend a minimum of recruit (1 banana) rank to have trades above max to be auto-confirmed and provide screenshot on forum (mandatory or requested?). The main reason is smiley rank is very easy to obtain therefore higher risk of manipulation of trades. However with recruit as a minimum, there is a fair amount of built up trust in the person to be truthful based on their contribution towards the rank.

Only solid negatives for auto-confirm are editing software like Photoshop and the usual trading between alts. (Though these issues exist even without rank auto-confirm concept)

Edit: Possible discussion on long term ranks that are now smiley (either requested or demoted due to lack of contribution) missing out on the auto-confirm trade? If it is not relevant concept at all then ignore lol.
