Now, while I do agree with you, I think it will be difficult to implement unless you actually make it a rule in the clan. The clan doesn't really have many rules, or at least many that are enforced. It's honestly more troll/hype quark, especially right now with the rises and drops. It would need to become a kickable offence to use those terms you mentioned (which is going to upset many people to be honest) or make an entirely new clan that has rules that is monitored and we refer non ranks to.

I'm going to do my part and not partake in the discussion but there isn't much else that can be done unless one of the above suggestions happens probably. I was never here.

When I see lines such at "Leggo -item-!", "-item- to max!", "Panic buy/sell -item-", you get the idea, I give them a warning about it and I'm starting to screenshot what they say. If they continue on I tell them yet again. So far everyone has stopped except one person, who says they will stop after I had to take action on them.

The main issue is where we draw the line. We can agree that saying something like "Rsh to max!" shouldn't be allowed, but lets say the price jumps up 20M or so, is it wrong to say "Wow rsh jumped up 20M I should buy one"? Now obviously if they said "Wow rsh jumped up 20M panic buy" I would be able to deal with it accordingly, but there's still a lot of grey areas that I believe need clarification. I support the idea, but we've made rules like this for the CC before. They never last long. Best to just ignore it. If people are foolish enough to listen to what others say... well, I'll just continue to profit off of them.

And that ^ is how the FC gets a bad reputation...taking advantage of the ignorant for their own gain!

Personally I have never thought it was right how ranks and other players in the CC hyped things up and orchestrated "pump and dump" buyouts - choo choo - profiting on those hopping on the train too late and causing them to lose large amounts of GP when the dump happened and they got caught holding their item(s). It's group scamming/manipulation in my eyes and not something that the FC or CC ranks should be coordinating and certainly not something they should be doing openly and proudly!

It's no secret that most FC ranks profit from flipping and/or investing in the items that the FC price checks. I also am opposed to spoon feeding FC users and treating them like they are young children that can't take care of themselves. That is a personal stance, though I know many others share it as well.

There have only been a couple of instances where such an effort has been "coordinated" (your word, not mine), and in those such instances I did discourage the behavior and take action when I thought it was necessary, as I too consider that to be manipulating the market. However, I disagree that making comments such as "wow, look at the rise on that RSH" is manipulation. That is a comment on the market, and we encourage discussion of FC items in the CC.

But anyways, this topic has already been settled and agreed to be acceptable unless a player was to attempt to hype items "excessively", so no reason for me to continue the discussion beyond this.

There are way more than a "couple of instances" where such has occurred and I in fact brought it up as a concern to the former FC owner when I was a rank . At the time I was told that not much could be done about it because the CC was a totally different entity not under control of the FC. There was talk at the time amongst FC ranks questioning whether the relationship between the FC and CC was a good one for the FC and serious consideration of the FC starting a new CC that would better serve its needs.

Now that the FC and CC are under the same ownership it appears that more control can be exercised over the CC, and that's a good thing IMO.

Having a logical discussion about a 20M drop in price is ok, but when the conversation is a bunch of people saying "L000L00L rip -item- glad I sold it!", that's when its not ok anymore. "I have kissed a guy" ~Popfrog
