Huh, I guess after last week's RA, not much to really announce, other than the usual stuff...Also, I'm sure that for a few of our forumites and KoVies alike that you have been struck with the Educational Plague. Here's to a good/productive semester/school year.

====Bug Bashing for Cash...or Bug Bashing for Sport?====

So, recently, and by recently I mean three days ago. The Dragon Knights wanted to go to Kalphite King. After about...a few hours of practice and getting two kills duo on the Beta Server, we turned an event that could have horribly gone wrong into a success...despite the drops we got. Our residential PvM team have been turning their sights to higher end bosses and while Raids are the long time goal, just advancing up the boss tier is quite an achievement.

If you feel like making some money or joining up, just let a Dragon Knight or the Grand Master know, and we can get you situated.

Also, something worth mentioning, since it was...well a surprise to a few...Kite was made Prince last week. So, in reaction to said action, Hit 1111 was made Director of the Architects...speaking of which...*makes notes* ...yup, got a few tasks for the new Director.

- Since her inauguration a fierce debate has raged on regarding the Queen's stature. As the average citizen no doubt knows by now, our fair and noble queen is an icyene, a race of beings that possess a human appearance with wings. What the average citizen does not know however is that the average icyene towers over even the tallest of men. At extreme risk to themselves, our investigative reporters managed to uncover the height of our queen. A mere 6 feet and 3 inches. It has become quite clear to us that our queen is in fact quite petite in comparison to other members of her race. More on the Queen's measurements on Page 4.

Overseer Lady Sora Attracts Old Men

-In a movement not seen since King Lali temporarily blinded a gathering of rioters, Overseer Lady Sora Verus has been trapped inside her home due to a mob of old men. For reasons still unknown, old men within a certain radius seem to home in our Lady Sora's location. Lady Sora has been subjected to multiple declarations of love and creepy stalking for the past three days and there is no visible end in sight. Major Capet of the guards is already preparing an armed escort to move Lady Sora to a safe location. More on Page 6.

Henceforth, all chests, crates and other box like objects must undergo a rigorous examination process. Clan Cup
!!


So, as some may have noticed (I've spoken to a few interested in the CC), the yearly Clan Cup is comming up, and it's time to assemble the ave-... individually awesome people of the clan for the
SKILLING CUP
. This year's skilling Cup is without registration and one participates by way of the Clan Vex.

A few faqs from the official forums:

There is no requirement for registration for this cup. All data will be automatically gathered during the skilling sessions using the Vex.
There are no limits on the number of Clan teams that can enter this cup.
Everyone can just do their best and we'll automatically take the top 10 scores.

On 7th September, the Clan Cup will begin, with the competition running over several weeks.

There is as of yet not an official list of the skills, but the principle from the previous years is, that each participant completes a maximum of 3 one-hour skilling sessions, with the best one counting (THIS MEANS YOU CAN PARTICIPATE BY SKILLING FOR 1 HOUR WHENEVER YOU WANT). New skill each week and xp is counted without bxp modifiers.

If you'd like to be a part of the Varrock Skilling Service, you can pledge yourself here, or, should you wish, take part at your own discretion in an elaborate covert operation. Again, there is no limit to the number of people taking part, and no registration, so feel free to advertise the Cup to others during the compete*ion :)
