INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE
Your clan is invited into the Skilling League! The Skilling League is a monthly competition among clans (warring and nonwarring) in various skills. The motive of the competition is to allow clans to network, raise skills in a fun environment, and to promote team work among clan members.
The skills can range from Mining to Smithing and Woodcutting to Fletching. It is random and chosen on the day of the competition. This month's competition begins on Saturday February 19th and the deadline for posting participants is Thursday February 17th. I know it is short notice but if you can get a team together we would love to have you.
Other clans are being invited and my clan (The Skilled Assassins) usuaully participate every month.
Out of respect for your thread I will not post the QFC of the league but will do so at your request. If you want more information please post on your thread and I will post the QFC for you. If you are not interested please state that as well and consider this a friendly bump.

Trivia:
Ricin is a protein produced by the castor oil plant, Ricinus communis, which is highly toxic (the minimal lethal dose is around 1 µg / kg body weight, that means 1/15th of a milligram could kill a 150 lb. person). Ricin can be a dangerous contaminant, making the production of castor oil a precisely controlled process.

I guess we wait for Lady Spyra to log in to see what action we will take in regards to the invitaion to the skilling competition.

Heya everyone.
Happy Valentines day, all 8 minutes of it left as I start to type this.
Sorry haven't been able to post earlier. Today, I had school, after school orchestra rehearsal, had to run to the store to get some flowers, go home real quick to pick up the gift I got my girlfriend, then rush over to her house for a few hours before I had to get home. Just now finishing up my chemistry homework, so was pretty slammed today lol.
Congrats on 99 fm Bay!
I'll probably be in game soon.

Go ahead and post the QFC, Mel =) We had fun when we participated in the skilling league last year :D We can at least check it out and take a vote if we'll participate in it this year or not

Trivia:
Time magazine's "Man of the Year" for 1938 was Adolf Hit ler.
(Shocking yes, but it is an eye opener to think about how people's attitudes/views were different back then, and I don't mean the average person's attitude was one of evil. They didn't know how things would turn out. It's just that we now have the benefit of hindsight into that part of history.)

Congrats to Forrb for his promotion (I was there to witness the promotion) :)
IF we do participate in this inter-clan skilling event, you can count me in. As you may or may not know, I am fairly high levelled in all the resource & processing skills, so I believe I can be pretty useful in boosting our score/production/however the scoring is rated.

And thank you for the congratulations, also. :D
A huge congrats to MrErock, who got 99 farming today! Woot!
Also, I'd be glad to help pitch in for the league competition thing. Maybe we could sync our contest with theirs, just to give an extra bit of motivation for our members to contribute.
