lol it seems I checked this thread at a good time. I checked it out and I have positive and negative things to say about it. I really like the layout. I like the double columns with scroll bars. I like how clean it looks. Only a couple things I don't like... the name banner and colors. It's a bit too gray
I actually think the gray color that you have for the text area is good. The text is easily readable. It's more the BACK background if you know what I mean, the one that surrounds the page
Also Forr, I figure the easiest way to reach you would be via this thread. I'm putting members that have said they want to help in proper tasks. I'm looking at what you ranked 1-2 which is creating/posting events, managing contests, and making sure the hall of fame is updated/reporting new 99s

Phew, I'm glad you liked the layout and not the colors, as opposed to vice versa.
This layout looks uniform in all browsers, since I used some simple code to position it, rather than all this relative and floating mixed with absolute (what a mess).
It takes less than a minute to change the color scheme of the hole page with CSS. Everything is in one place and really easy to find and change.
For the banner, it was really rushed (about 5 minutes with some knock off Photoshop program). I'll make it after we have a solid color scheme, and put some real time into it.
For the color scheme, all I need to do is either keep mixing until I can get one you like, or give you a resource so you can pick out multiple schemes until we pick one that looks good. Like I said, banner comes after.
And for the background, It's super plain. Although relatively risky with a lot of different resolutions, I'd rather put in an image as a background rather than a solid color. I'd have to do a little researching to make it look more uniform with multiple resolutions, though. If the image doesn't work out, we can always spend 2 seconds just changing the background color.
Also lately I've been spending more and more time learning more code and such, so by Christmas (again crossing fingers for a laptop) I'll definitely have enough knowledge to code an awesome dynamic site, and with a laptop a lot more time to implement it(I'll be taking it everywhere and working in free time). For now, though, something like this should work, with a lot of little improvements.
As for the tasks, I'll be glad to help with anything, especially contests. I could integrate the checking hall of fame and such with contests, since both require hs for 99 and start exp/levels (respectively).
Anyways, I'm getting dangerously close to running out of characters, so cya everyone.

Hi everyone its been geeting closer to the right before finals crunch for me, so ive been a bit busy. College at metro sucks, but i am working my way to a scholarship to cu if i can. Right now im currently a 4.0 student for the first time ever and just have been working to keep it that way. I would like to take this opportunity to ask for a little assistance and once my task is completed, to give a little in return.
Decided to try and get my void knight deflector which requires one to do the mini-game tutorial for conquest on the void knight island (i.e., where pest control is) and 150 points and a rating of 1250 in the game.
Here's my problem, I keep getting my teeth kicked in with all my strategies lately
, so I thought I would ask a clan mate to help me get my rank so I can purchase one, then I can return the favor.
By the way you get pretty good commendation points from playing, pretty easy to get 100 in three or four games to trade in on skills, even if you lose
(which I have done a LOT of lately)
So if anyone is interested in getting their deflector, let me know so we can knock it out quick together.

Heya Rakhi! Sorry I haven't posted in a couple days. Yesterday was a celebration, and today my dad came up to take me out for lunch to celebrate. Forum rules prevent me from specifying this "celebration" I speak of, I think. But anyway, I've been busy with that
On to the site. Forr, if we went with a background image, how hard would it be to find something Native American? Seeing as how Rakhi-Sunita is an Indian name, I think it would make sense to have that theme incorporated into the site =) I took a glance at the site yesterday. I'll look at it more carefully tonight
