-- Meeting Recap for 2/13/2018 --

Recap:

- This week we were on the upswing again, going up to 36% of the way to tier 7. We had 70+ visits this week for the first time in clan history, but we just need to ensure those visits get translated into caps. Important to remember is that once we finish the bars, the progress we make per week will skyrocket because bars take effectively 3 resources per 1 bar. OkShy has purposely set goals in ways to minimize the time it will take for us to get tier 7. If you come and see stuff is locked, it is due to these goals he set for a reason; it is not to punish you. We will not change/unlock plots just so one person can do a preferred resource, if you have a preference try to get to the citadel soon after it resets each week. The capping raffle is currently ongoing, to enter you must tell Pax, myself, or Mojo that you capped or simply post in the discord capping channel.

- We have an allied event with TRFC this upcoming Saturday at 5 pm est time at castle wars and I encourage as many people to attend as possible and get to know TRFC and their members. We have a very good relationship with them and hope to expand on it moving forward.
- In terms of the drama that we had encountered in the earlier weeks of this month, we have decided that we will no longer be taking part in it and instead will go back to doing what got us to this point, which is focusing on ourselves. You can still feel free to place a vex down wherever you’d like, but vex chess is no longer being pushed. Similarly, don’t be openly hostile toward anyone, we don’t want any negativity to cloud our public image.

- Members are encouraged to begin going to other worlds to try and recruit new members as we try to branch out and diversify a bit more.

- The winners of this week’s recruitment raffle and its 20 mil gp prize are Scotch Rocks and Laina, who won actually won both prizes. The winners for this week’s capping raffle were Kouz and Alisha. If you’d like to have a chance to win next week, you just have to recruit a member and inform myself, Pax, or Mojo, or simply post in the recruitment raffle channel.

Senate Meeting Recap

PKing Earning Denarius

As some of you may have seen, clan statistics do track the amount of kills each clan member has within the wilderness. As requested by arguably our top PKer, we have agreed to implement a method of earning Denarii through PKing. Being that wilderness kills are tracked on the Runescape website, it only seems reasonable to reward those that bring our Kill Count up higher. The rate at which Denarii will be earned through PKing will be in the works. There will be a cap/soft cap put to this, similar to how donations and clan XP work. Keep on the lookout for further announcements on this.

Events

This past Sunday, Rome revisted one of its favorite clan activites - Pest Control. The event was such a huge success that I would like to acknowledge the fantastic, extraordinary community we have here. It was very enjoyable and received amazing feedback from its goers. I encourage anyone to come join us in our clan events, and would like to make the reminder that any person may host a clan event as long as there is a legitimate activity with 4+ clan members. Of course, we would prefer the event to be all-inclusive if possible.

Today's roman fact:

the name of the first month in a year, January comes from the name of the ancient roman god of time Janus.

Acording to roman mythology, Janus the god of beginnings, gates, transitions, time, duality, doorways, passages, and endings (That title though), Had two heads. One looking back at the year that passed, the other look forward at the year to come.
