Ancient Rome had a 4-story-tall shopping mall with 150 shops and offices.

Trajan’s market was a massive open building in ancient Rome that is probably one of the world’s first examples of something we usually associate with the 20th century—a shopping mall.

This structure is today 2000 years later still standing, nessisary maintenence.

The Romans had over 300 public bathrooms, this was a place where people socialized while getting rid of their excrements.

did you know that the ancient romans were the first people to arrange a series of underground paths which acted like sewers?

iv personally learned that the Romans were they first people to do alot of things.
