I joined ER back in Summer 2010 and in that short amount of time, I have made many new friends. I've previously been in other clans before this one, which I have all quit from, but this one is by far the best. :3
But seriously, though, ER is a really friendly community and no matter what, there's always someone to talk to. There are also events which suit everyone, from combat to just socialising at a house party. ER is the perfect clan and I wouldn't want anything to be changed at all.

I have been a member of Elemental Resistance for a while now.
I've been helping out and about with things that people need help with, and I have enjoyed my experience..
Fun events created by Spiruel and other members of the Clan make the cc a blast!!
As a heads up to all new recruits looking, I strongly recommend you to fill in the application form and clearly read the rules, so you can join us with the wonderful events
and enjoyable atmosphere!

Why you should join Elemental Resistance:

Elemental Resistance is better than ANY OTHER CLAN. Here's why:
1) We have activities that are fun for all, not constant PvP or GWD trips.
2)If you can't attend an activity 'cos you're busy, we won't kick you out and belittle you, we will just devour your soul.
3)There are no noobs, yet we're not elitist.
4)The clan is overseen by experienced and friendly players who know what it's like to work your way through RS and have a wide experience of all areas.
5)We don't take just anyone, but the entry process is easy and convenient.
6)We want to hear about YOU- not just boss you along to events. Yet we're still able to perform to our best and outshine other clans.

This is the code of conduct for ALL the Elemental Resistance clan.

-Respect ALL clan members regardless of circumstances. This also includes being traitorous in a pvp area.
-No multiclanning.
-Contribute to the clan citadel.
-Follow Jagex Rules.
-No impersonation of clan members.
-Follow the ranking system.
-No inappropriate subjects or explicit content is to be mentioned in the clan.
-No inappropriate or offensive display names. It's effectively breaking rules constantly!
-No in real life names please, it gets complicated.
-Regardless of online or real life circumstances, always remember to retain a positive attitude; no pessimism wanted!
-NO Swearing, regardless of whether you have the profanity filter disabled or not.
-Do NOT bypass the Runescape chat filter.
-Offensive Language-
Offensive Language will NOT be tolerated on Clan Chat. Use of offensive language will result in punishment being taken.
-Advertising-
Advertising in any form is NOT tolerated in Clan Chat.
Advertising any Runescape sites offering gold will NOT be tolerated and the user advertising that site will be banned.
Advertising another Runescape Clan will NOT be tolerated either. Doing so will result in an immediate kick and maybe further punishment action.
-Asking For Rank Up-
If you break this rule repetetively we will ask you not to, its annoying.
-Spamming-
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: Anybody caught spamming our clan chat and forums may probably face a permanent ban from our clan services. Simple way to avoid getting banned by this rule. Don't spam.
-Punishments-
On breaking rules in clan chat:
*Generals+ will give you ONE warning.
*If you need to get a second warning you WILL be kicked.
*If the offence is so bad you will be banned for a certain period of time or permanently.

The Ranking System Is Based On How Much You Contribute To The Clan, Here's A Way You Can Get Ranks Up Easily.
To rank up:
-Join Clan Chat When Your Online.
-Don't Break ANY Clan Rules!
-Recruit People To The Clan.
-Bump The Clan Recruitment Thread Once Or More A Day.
-Go To Events!
-Do Not Join Other Clans!
-Show Your Mature Enough For Leaders To Trust You, & You Can Help The Leaders Organise Clan Events.
-Encourage Clan Members To Go The Events, Etc.

Recruit: The first rank. Fresh recruits are this rank.
Corporal: Been part of the clan for 4 days or more. Have a postcount of 15 in the ER clanpage, bumped regularly in the recruitment thread.
Sergeant: Been part of the clan for a week in ER. Gone to 3 events, have a postcount of 20 in the ER Forums and have bumped regulary, and explored all the features on the ER Clanpage.
Lietenant: Spent a month in ER, organised 1 event by talking to Spiruel, gone to 5+ events (not your own), have postcount of 30 in the forums, bumped regulary in the recruitment thread.
Captain: Been in ER for 3 months: hosted 5+ events, gone to 10 events (not your own), have a postcount of 50 in the forums, and a well respected member of the clan.
General: Must have been in ER for 5+ months, have a postcount of 60+ on the ER forums, must have bumped regulary on the recruitment thread every day, gone to 20 events (not your own), hosted 10 events, well respected member of the clan, and voted in via General election or other means.

We don't normally post events on this thread and normally organise the big ones on the clanpages.
We do events according to the Runescape Update if the clan can investigate it together.
And most events are organised a few hours before the actual time (small events such as kbd, clanwars etc) and big events are organised on the clan noticeboard with a few days in advance.
Note: The clan does not do many wars.
Most events take place 4-5pm gmt.

=Intro=
You have been invited to join the Elemental Resistance Clan!
The clan was formed in August 2007, by 2rockon, Emsisere and Spiruel.
Elemental Resistance is a social, community clan focusing on many parts of the game.
After three years- Elemental Resistance is a flourishing clan, with everyone having a right to speak out, to be treated equally and to respect each other. Your opinions are always accepted and you can suggest anything.

=Events=
We do many events, with lots on the weekend normally organised at about 5pm GMT.

~Fun casual events such as Parties and Parades
~PVM trips such as: Kbd, Chaos Elemental, Dagganoth Kings.

The requirements for the clan is 85+ combat (or you can have a Combat skill over 95+).
The clan is GMT time based.
