CLAN INTRODUCTION

HISTORY

Masters Templar (MT) was formed in July of 2009 by SlRE and 3 others. bill2781, Sirgandolf1 (currently known as SGANDOLF1WHT), and a third unnamed player are the 3 other co-founders. Within the beginning weeks, we brought in various family members and close friends as this is what the clans purpose in the beginning was first thought to be. In September 2009 Masters Templar opened its doors publicly and recruited its first outside members.

August 2011 Masters Templar experienced a major overhaul. Numerous points prompted this action. With the release of the clans, clan camp, and citadels in it's early stages, the clan took advantage of the many new useful tools now available and adopted new policies in how we conducted our clan. At that time, our clan adopted a new name of Legion of Paragons (LOP).

January 2013, LOP's operation halted as the leaders went on an extended break from the game. During that time, the clan dwindled down to 10 members and dilapidated its citadel from Tier 5 down to Tier 1. June 2013, LOP Kicked off once again, and continued on with operations as if nothing ever happened. Our name was restored back to its originating name of Masters Templar.

- Characteristics for the purpose of this clan would be Runescape.

CHAT RULES

GENERAL

We have chat rules in our clan to ensure a pleasant and respectful gaming atmosphere suitable for all ages. If you have a fowl mouth, simply don't type it. Despite argumentative attempts in debating this fact, offensive language is in fact against Jagex rules and we strictly enforce this. All clan members regardless of clan rank, skill levels, time played in game, date started playing runescape are under this rule including the clan owner.

THE RULES

2-A. All chat rules by Rules of Runescape.

2-B. Be in clan chat while logged onto your character. This also includes demonstrating proper behavior in clan chat. SWEAR WORDS, FLAMMING and ARGUING is PROHIBITED and is STRONGLY ENFORCED.

2-C. Do not interrupt, comment, question, challenge or otherwise bud into any situation where an officer or leader is dealing with correcting a clan member. Any questions, comments or concerns can be done in a PM only. If done in clan chat, you chance being kicked.

2-D. With the exception of a couple outside servers, all members that are in the RS3 server must be logged into our clan chat while in game.

2-E. If a leader attempts to reach you and after numerous attempts over a period of time you do not reply, this may be cause for a kick. Watch you clan chat best you can. Note: We are aware that certain activities may reduce the ability to monitor chat at times ie; quests. We will give ample time and use numerous methods over time. If we do kick for unresponsiveness, it is because we are certain you are either ignoring us purposely, or are botting.

AVATAR RULES

GENERAL

All avatar wardens must be of admin+ rank. We DO NOT hand out admin ranks to new members. Our admin rank is our highest rank among non staff members. Also, although the Administrator rank is necessary to give the avatar permission, this does not mean all admin + ranks have the permission.

THE RULES

3-A. Be in Clan Chat while you have the avatar summoned.

3-B. Do announce in clan chat when you take the avatar out.

3-C. Be on the clan home world, but the avatar warden with the 2nd avatar has the right to choose a world that they think might be better suited for everyone if an avatar is already on the clan home world. Exception to this is if the avatar officer has the avatar in the citadel for the purpose of capping that avatar.

3-D. Do remind everyone once every 60 minutes or so that you have avatar out (in case someone recently logged in).

3-E. Do not order the avatar to cap resources in the citadel unless you are asked to do so. We set the avatars to collect based on preplanned requirements. If you cap the avatar without permission, you may collect resources we don't need, ultimately causing us to miss requirements needed, and could result in reducing tier levels or missed build.

NEEDS QFC

asks you to send your avatar home you must do so. Refusal will result in your avatar being recalled immediately and your avatar permissions revoked.

AVATAR TRAINING

- Anyone given avatar permissions must undergo avatar training in this clan before permissions are granted. (Even if you have prior avatar knowledge).

- You must have Admin+ rank to receive training with the avatars.

- Avatar permissions are based on consistent citadel full caps, not rank level. .•*´¨)

PARTICIPATING IN OUR CLAN

HOW DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN OUR CLAN?

- Simply jump in and do it. You may participate and or do anything you like in the clan. The main thing is to be an initiator and motivator for your fellow clan mates. To name a few;
1. Host and join in on member hosted events.
2. Help in production of finished goods
3. Host and join fundraisers
4. Take up collections, and or donate to our clan bank.
5. Hold competitions with our members.
6. Bump our threads.

HOW DO I GET RECOGNIZED FOR PARTICIPATING?

- When ever you participate in the clan, or otherwise do anything in or for the clan, post it here on this thread.

DO I NEED TO POST TEMPLATES ON THE THREAD FOR WHAT I DO?

- On page 5 of this thread we have templates for Donating, Events. On page 10 are the referral template for new players to guesting in our clan chat. These templates are required for the topic they're intended use is for.

WHAT BENEFITS DO I RECEIVE FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE CLAN?

- For now mainly it is how you get recognized and ranked up in the clan.

WHY DON'T WE HAVE ALL BENEFITS NOW?

- Clan participation determines the success of the programs which opens the path for these benefits. No participation, No program can run. Takes more than just a couple members. .•*´¨)

CLAN LEAVE

GENERAL

Clan leave is a benefit for our members that are having hardships in real life that will prevent them from playing runescape, which results in no clan activity. This benefit is to be used in those emergency cases and is not intended to be used to excuse you leisurely as you work your character free of clan involvement.

To prevent missed caps and or missed points possible, get involved early in the week as possible that way if something happens late in the week, you are covered.

RULES

1: Going on leave in the middle of the week and having no points or your cap completed will not save your rank. You will still be demoted that week to Recruit. However, it will save you from a kick for failure to cap.

2: Leave will be granted for two full tick weeks after posted leave request. Therefore leave will cover the remainder of the week its posted, then the two full tick weeks after.

3. Automatically, once a member has been on leave for two tick weeks, leave will be lifted and the member will be subject to all requirements and policy regardless if contact by the member was made or not.

4. The clan leaders reserve the right to reject leave requests if there is a concern of leave abuse to avoid clan requirements.

5. All leave requests must be submitted on this thread using the Leave Request Template. Contacting a leader in facebook, in game, or any other communicable means is not acceptable notice and will not be honored for leave.

MEMBER RANKING SYSTEM

NEW PROGRAM

GENERAL

Ranking in our clan involves two factors. Factor one, You must lapse the required time in each rank. And the second factor is to obtain the required number of rank points.

RECRUITS

You'll need to be in the clan for at least two full weeks before you can be promoted. Our promotion period happens first week of every month. If a new member joins and has at least 2 weeks in clan prior to the next promotion period, they will be considered for promotion. Ultimately, a Recruit could possibly wait up to 7 weeks before seeing a promotion. If it is determined prior that the Recruit has had an exceptional participation level, the clan leader may promote the Recruit earlier but should not be expected.

POINTS BREAK DOWN

A. POINTS NEEDED TO GAIN A PROMOTION

Recruit - 6 for Corporal and 4 wks
Corporal - 8 for Sergeant and 4 wks
Sergeant - 10 for Lieutenant and 4 wks
Lieutenant - 12 for Captain and 8 wks
Captain - 16 for General and 8 wks

*Exception is in months with 5 weeks.

B. POINTS NEEDED TO MAINTAIN CURRENT RANK EACH MONTH

Recruit - 4
Corporal - 6
Sergeant - 8
Lieutenant - 10
Captain - 12
General - 16

DEMOTIONS

If at time of promotion period a member does not meet the required points to maintain their current rank, they will be demoted down to the rank that matches the points they have earned. Example; A General earned 4 points last month., they have earned enough points to maintain Recruit and they will be demoted to Recruit from General. It would benefit higher ranks to maintain what is required because in our example it will take that member another 7 months to get back to General ( provided they meet the promotion point requirements each month there after ) to get back to General. .•*´¨)

MEMBER RANKING SYSTEM Q&A

HOW DO I GET PROMOTED?

Participating in our clan is the key. But... Since we cannot be online 24/7 to see all activity, it is very important you post your activity on this thread. Everything you could possibly participate in has a template that you can copy paste into a reply to our thread. If you are posting a BUMP, then just post BUMP. Same thing for Capped. If you've capped at our citadel, Just post CAPPED. You do not need a template for posting CAPPED or a BUMP.

WHEN DOES PROMOTIONS TAKE PLACE?

The first week of every month.

CAN I GET PROMOTED BETWEEN PROMOTION PERIODS?

This is possible if promoted by the clan leader for extraordinary performance.

WHO CAN GIVE MID PERIOD PROMOTIONS?

The clan leader and the assistant clan leaders are the only two that can give mid period promotions.

WHY DID I LOSE MY RANK OR GET DEMOTED?

Upon determination that a member has broken a clan/runescape rule, the member can be demoted immediately. This action does not wait until the ranking period is here. Also, if at the time of the ranking period it is determined that the member has gone inactive, or fails to meet req's, the members rank may be removed and demoted.

I'M GOING TO BE GONE FOR A WEEK OR TWO SO I'LL BE INACTIVE, HOW DO I KEEP MY RANK?

If a member submits a leave request template, we will be made aware that you are needing to go on leave, and on a temporary basis we can reserve your rank for you for a period up to 30 days.

I'M MAXED 99'S IN ALL MY SKILLS, WHY IS THIS LOW LEVEL A BRONZE KEY RANK AND I'M ONLY A CORPORAL?

Ranks in our clan are not based on in-game levels. Our ranks are based on in-clan participation and clan knowledge. Ranks higher than General are reserved for staff members that are designated certain clan jobs. There is no minimum skill level requirement to hold a position in our clan. .•*´¨)

MEMBER ADVANCEMENT
(Entry Level and Experienced Ranks)

NEW PROGRAM

GENERAL

Moving up in the clan is an eye ball process. If you stand out for participating in the clan, you may be given a rank up for the deeds you do in the clan. On the flip side of the coin, you WILL be ranked down for not participating.

ENTRY LEVEL RANKS

STRIPED RANKS

01. RECRUIT - New and probationary members. Needs 4 point a month to maintain rank.

02. CORPORAL - Members that have been in the clan 4+ weeks and have obtained 6 points since coming into the rank of recruit. Needs 6 points a month to maintain rank.

03. SERGEANT - Members that have been in the clan a minimum of 8 weeks and has obtained 8 points since coming into the rank of corporal. Needs 8 points a month to maintain rank.

(At fealty 3, may be given temporary admin rank to use the avatar during capping ONLY)

EXPERIENCED RANKS

STARRED RANKS

04. LIEUTENANT - Members that have been in the clan a minimum of 12 weeks and has obtained 10 points since coming into the rank of sergeant. Needs 10 points a month to maintain rank.

05. CAPTAIN - Members that have been in the clan a minimum of 20 weeks and has obtained 12 points since coming into the rank of lieutenant. Needs 12 points a month to maintain rank.

06. GENERAL - Members that have been in the clan a minimum of 28 weeks and has obtained 16 points since coming into the rank of captain. Needs 16 points a month to maintain rank.

(At fealty 3, may be given temporary admin rank to use the avatar in the clan home world ONLY. Time to be determined by granter of permissions not less than 2 hours)

CROSS RANKS

07. ADMINISTRATOR - AVATAR OFFICER.
This rank is responsible for taking out the avatars every time they are online. Exceptions to this rule are game content allowing depending on what the avatar officer is working on, IE; quests, areas that do not allow summoning familiars or avatars etc. To be given this rank, a member must maintain the requirements for General, and must have capped every week from being promoted to lieutenant and be at fealty 3.

08. ORGANISER - CLAN OFFICER.
This rank is the clan worker bee. Must carry out all orders pertaining to their clan job by their manager.

09. COORDINATOR - CLAN MANAGER.
The clan manager rank is responsible for a number of officers within their department. It is their responsibility to ensure smooth operation, growth, and stability is being maintained within their department.

LEADERSHIP RANKS

KEY RANKS

10. OVERSEER - CLAN DIRECTOR.
This member is equal to a Vice President level in a corporation. Takes the role of Clan Secretary, Treasurer, Operations or Logistics. They also sit on the clan senior staff.

11. DEPUTY OWNER - ASSISTANT CLAN LEADER.
This rank is for the clans second in charge in our admin clan, and also the clan leader in each sub-clan. This ranks assists the clan owner in the every day to day fundamental operations of the entire clan. This rank is also compared to that of a Senior Vice President.

12. OWNER - CLAN OWNER/CLAN LEADER.
This rank is for the clans owner. No one besides SlRE will hold the position and rank of owner including the clans sub-clan systems when applicable. No one can hire, fire, or dismiss this member out of position. This rank is comparable to a company President. .•*´¨)

MEMBER EARNING PERCENTAGES

PART ONE
The rank percentages are the percentage that each member will receive each month. The clans total earnings subtracting the costs and 50% clan savings will be the total profit of the clan. Costs will include materials for production, drawing pay outs, prizes and winnings, plus the weekly percentage of savings taken out. This program will be discussed in detail in a later post on this thread.

Each member will receive the percentage of their rank after rank adjustments.

PART TWO
Members that recruit others will gain earnings from those who they recruit. Both the new player and the recruiter must be in the clan to continue this benefit. If either member leaves the clan or is kicked, then this earning will be discontinued. As the new member raises in rank, the percentage goes up that the recruiter will receive. This amount will always be determined by the new members rank, not the rank of the recruiter.

CLAUSE OF CONDITIONS

1. This is a very new program, thus adjustments in the future may be needed. Fairness and feasibility will be used to determine these factors.
2. These percentages may change as needed based on member counts and or profit margins changes.
