Been a while since I was here, hope you all didn't think I had died, been way too busy with irl things (starting new full time hours soon too) - so hello y'all. c:

Just wanted to touch base and ask if it was possible for the Global Chat in the Clan Citadel, if enabled, can also apply to non-clan members i.e. if you are a guest, or if guests visit your clan's citadel.

Probably not able to be done so due to clan data writing to the server - but if able, please? <3 This character has been poor since his creation in June 2005.

Not exactly sure what you're asking.

The setting you are speaking of is a property of the citadel itself. doesn't matter who goes in there, it will still apply. Mod Maz

So guests of the clan citadel (i.e. you visit another clan's cit or vice versa) should be able to be heard from anywhere if the global chat is turned on? This character has been poor since his creation in June 2005.

Yes, it simply applies to players. That setting doesn't know if you're a guest or not. Mod Maz

Hmm.... maybe it was just the clan citadel I was visiting - they did say they had Global Chat on, but I'll recheck, thanks Squirrelly One. ^^ This character has been poor since his creation in June 2005.

Alrighty, so a bit of an update.........

I was in the NXT Beta at the time, looking for clan bugs (as we all know it will happen).

I found two of them, one I reported (you can see the disco floor in your minimap from the ground floor i.e. the podium gallery part).

However! The Global Chat not working in citadel occurred while I was guesting in a friend's cit to see if it occurred there too. He was talking to me then disappeared to the bank box in his cit and his global chat cut off while he was talking to me.

So I cannot actually report it now via bug report because the nxt beta is closed, so Maz, could you possibly pass that on please? :s This character has been poor since his creation in June 2005.

Yeah, went to the same citadel and I stood at the portal while my friend went to the bank, then I went to the furthest possible point away from his position - both times was able to hear him and vice versa. This character has been poor since his creation in June 2005.
