This has been asked for often in the past :p

I think the response was that it is not possible due to the amount of storage needed for the amount of clans and all that stuff.

Can confirm, as others have in previous threads with same request. I asked a Mod this a while back, and it was recently reconfirmed by Mod Maz.

Edit: Support, as usual, for this idea, but I doubt the feasibility situation has changed.

This tool does about half of what you're asking for (not optimal, but better than nothing right?), and I'd recommend every clan leader use it:
86-87-226-65189098

All credit goes to Blasty, I've been using this for 2.5 years and it works brilliantly. Basic synopsis is it logs the date & all people who join/leave the clan (it screws up with name changes but once you get used to it they're easy to pick out) that day along with any rank-ups. It doesn't say who did it, but it's something at least.

Hope it helps.

Many thanks for fixing the clan page link in rune metrics

But this got me thinking how great it would be if the clan pages link was updated with

Clan members hiscores
Clan members activity

everything we asked for in clan permission updates

xp races
drop hiscores

new clan forums formats same as main forums

but am i thinking to logical for jagex to put everything we require from game in 1 place
No need for any off site data help.

@ Ninmci above

because the clan logger doesnt keep track of -who- invited/kicked/ changed ranks of people and isn't on the runescape site (for utility) and the same for runeclan, it only has "1 end of the story" if you will

I support and will always support if they can find a way to have an in game or on site logger of who changes stuff and everything that was listed

I mean, in the clan i'm in all the key ranks are only only people who are allowed to change anything, so if something is changed and we find it suspicious we have a skype group we are always keeping in contact with everyone with, but that still isn't as useful as being able to just click a button and have it show you who changed whatever and when.

The broadcast is nice but it doesn't quite let us 100% know the going on's in your clan throughout the week. Anyone with a semi-larger clan with leaders who can't ALWAYS communicate with each other would understand.

@blasty's tool
It is helpful to an extent but it is not 100% precise and with name changes it just gets a tad annoying to follow. Don't get me wrong- its a fantastic tool and and i love that he made it; but its shocking to me that jagex can't broadcast the same data that runeclan and he does.

I know for 100% certainty jagex already has a system similar to what I'm asking for in place; its just privately used by J-mods and may not be used for every single clan.

One way to possibly limit the amount of data needed to be stored, perhaps allow only clans with maybe a threshold rank, time in existence, member base to be tracked.
I would prefer if all could use this log but an example could be only clans with access to CLF can use... or any clan with more than 40 people can use etc etc.

A Clan Log is on the wishlist for Clans but is not currently in development. There are a number of technical issues with the list of requirements you have made and it is not the case that we record all the data you suggest we do in player accessible form. I just suggested you have something similar, which you do.
If all or most of the features could be included now or perhaps with more features as the technology, ideas improve- it would still be a great addition at this time.
