Why didn't you just Refound?
As Thomas Jefferson once said, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." We preserve our legacy because we acknowledge the importance of our history.
When a reporter once asked Thomas Edison, "How did it feel to fail a thousand times to make a light bulb?" Edison replied, "I didn't fail a thousand times. I found a thousands ways not to make a light bulb." Edison later added, "Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up."

Have you had to deal with any of the roadblocks I've mentioned?
One of my favourite books called "Mistakes Were Made (But Not By Me)" talks about history repeating itself when people don't learn from their mistakes because of ignorance or even worse cognitive dissonance. So if you are going to rebuild a Clan, you better plan some big changes. As Albert Einstein once said, "Doing the same thing over and over is the definition of insanity."
"If you run into a wall, find a way around it or learn it climb."
You may be faced with:
- Wasting time planning instead of taking action
Fix: Break down problems into smaller goals and set deadlines
- Doing things yourself because its quicker than training new helpers
Fix: Remember you can't do everything; discuss history and priorities
- Worrying about changes not getting done
Fix: Don't worry; be happy - most people don't care about the little details
- Not knowing what to do
Fix: Consult with someone new - fresh eyes will give you perspective
- Being open to new ideas and preserving old ones
Fix: Draft what you think is best and discuss with your people
- Focusing on the problems
Fix: Celebrate your accomplishments
- Wanting to do too many things
Fix: Keep it simple stupid
...Just a few things.
