In the YT broadcast of today, they mentioned the upcoming survey. They didn't mention the Permission Rewrite at all.

"Things we're excited about - GWD2 Continuation, Desert Quests, and Menaphos";

Kind of disappointing, tbh... with the Permission Rewrite being number one for the last few days. I guess they're not excited to promote updating existing content.

I don't know if I'm allowed to link it but it's on RuneScape's YT channel; Titled: "This Summer in RuneScape and Special Announcement!"

18:00 - for the special announcement after which they talk a bit about the top ideas and
24:20 - they talk about RuneLabs
25:00 - "Very small group of players using it, it doesn't work really well when its just the same ideas from the same group of players" Pleasure in the job, puts perfection in the work.

Not unexpected, it's not something most people can go wild about... it's not as exciting as Menaphos, Desert month, bank reworks etc. The proposed clan update is also fairly technical, so in context of the short overview of the ideas (about 19:00 on the video), it makes sense not to mention it.

, thanks for the time marks. If they decide not to include the Clan Permission Rewrite because it's not interesting enough, and the above quote is their excuse...I WILL RAGE. Brb gonna try to promote it on Reddit since the devs spend a lot of time there

Ah, my bad; that was said regarding RuneLabs not the Permission Rewrite itself. I was just trying to counter that quote with; "Oh yeah? well, look at what clans can accomplish together" as an example :x so no worries, we're still gonna be on the survey. Pleasure in the job, puts perfection in the work.

, no worries, I understand what you meant and that it was in reference to RuneLabs. However, currently we've made ground on RuneLabs, and as such it's our only evidence that players would be interested in this update. If they invalidate our RuneLabs success, for example using the above reason, then it's simply a convenient excuse for them

Update: The post is receiving responses. I'm being careful not to speak for the entire CLF (for example, "many of us in the CLF," ), but I do convey our degree of unity to convince people to join the bandwagon. I encourage you guys to help answer any questions and to build publicity, also, so I'm not the sole spokesperson for the CLF by default

They cannot be biased though on this topic, by choosing to pick and choose what topics they talk about they are actually giving screen time to other ideas. This is not something that should be done and I will complain if its done again.

Clan rewrite is going to be hard enough to get through the survey without Jagex pushing content based ideas in their videos and leaving out other stuff. Creator of the Clan Leader Discord & Clan Discord
