I just tried using a keepsake key on my clan cloak and it did not appear to work. :(

It's for free (supposedly available in the Overrides section). No keepsaking required :)

I dont really see the purpose of a newsletter in a mailbox, not sure there is anything you can put in it that cant just be placed on the clan forums.

Well my point is that (atleast in my clan) that many people dont wanna use clan website. Some fear there might be viruses, others fear it might be useless, others dont wanna use it etc. If we can just send them a mail to the runescape mailbox, it would be easier. hi

Your clan is provded with it's very own page on the Runescape website under the Community > Clans menu.

A newsletter would require some way of checking and reporting what you wrote, as some people will inevitably use it for non constructive purposes. It would also require a huge amount of storage potential, as we would have no idea on the uptake of such a system. I don't think it is likely any time soon. Mod Maz

Having the ability to send plain text as a mass mail to inbox or something of the sort (integration into clan tab) is something I've personally been in search of for years. Would make things significantly easier for clans to relay important information. Clan forums already exist so from my perspective I'm not sure what "non constructive" information could be placed that already couldn't be done on there, as well in terms of storage potential.

Of course I don't fully understand the technical side of things in this game & could be missing out on something.

I've recently adopted clan website/forums & am never going back. It's difficult to get members on as some are worried about account security (as they should be). It's probably as good as things are going to get for offline communication.
