So this might sound stupid, but I has idea:

What would you guys think of an option in your account settings to require a thumbprint scan in order to log in? (Thumbprint scanners sell for as low as $12.50)

10 I don't know, seems a bit off just for Runescape. It can't be that great a security measure if no other game, at least none I know of, use it a security measurement.. Or is just impractical as most people don't have, and won't get, a fingerprint scanner. MrBrokenBow - Former Leader and Founder of

@ Lisa, thumbs down for the thumb print scanner. If it were an option, if you're trying to log in from a computer that doesn't have a thumb print scanner, you need a contingency for that besides disabling the scanner. Maybe add a Captcha in addition to if you have authenticator enabled. But in that case, may as well nix the thumb print scanner in the first place and require that to begin with, since Captchas are for the most part fairly quick and straightforward, on par with the convenience of a thumbprint scanner should you have one already set up.
