The approach being that you were in charge of everything. Rob has to be in charge of something or Rob destroy.
Even though you're failing miserably at your attempts to destroy the CLD. 9 Months after you [deservedly] were banned from it, it's better than ever. Two of the main reasons of that is because you're not in charge of it, and you're not in it at all.
Even after you stepped down as owner and were still a member of the CLD you didn't complain about Mod Shauny running polls once. You're just spouting hypocritical nonsense hoping one of your arguments sticks.
At least other members of the Clan Leader community have valid arguments with regards to the CLD. Yours has never been valid, yours is just a giant act.
You're a giant stain and an embarrassment to this community of ours here in the CLF. The sooner the clan (well actually the whole RS community) is rid of you the better.

This is obviously a veeery belated post since I was granted access here probably around 5 years ago
1) How did you first find out about clans and how did you become involved with your current clan?
I was a general in the fc <assistclan> and then when it shut down in Oct 2011 I personally founded the fc and clan <fast effigy> . I had several k assisters (among them Suomi, Tess/Jake, Elias, Elvis, Kingduffy, Almostlost) but only 8 clan members. Eventually we had 480 clan members and ranked #68 in the highscores.
-
2) Do you doubt on your abilities from time to time?
Yes all the time lol. I wish I had 8 arms...
Last week I worked 6x 16 hour shifts as a male nurse which equaled a 96 hour work week...
-
3) Are you able to control your anger when a member does something very wrong?
Getting angry is a waste of my time
60% of our admins are over 40 so we don't care to get more grey hair than we already have...
-
4) Have you ever had a dream about your clan?
I once had the nightmare that my clan would get hacked and then hijacked... unfortunately that dream became a reality a few days ago.
-
5) Would you ever join a clan again as a recruit?
I don't care what role I have in a clan as long as the owner isn't a dictator.
-
6) Do you talk with members using other sites/programmes (aka skype, facebook, etc.)
Yes we have an offsite (which was hacked and then deleted last week), discord server, facebook group, twitter.
-
7) What are your clans requirements for new members?
Be respectful and don't put down others.
-
8) How does your clan handle ranking?
Exp based until general, after that merit based.
-
9) What kind of events does your clan like to do?
skilling events, holiday events, some mass pvm
As part of the D&D community we used to run minigames and D&D events (together with Aorox, Athina and Canada Grrl) until the fc <minigames> was founded.
-
10) Does your clan have a clan citadel? (If so, what tier?)
tier 7 with all customizations done
The CLF for all intensive purposes is a place to represent your clan
Perfectly fair and completely reasonable
Please do not discuss anything outside of the CLF unless otherwise stated by myself/other mods
I fully support this, but I hesitantly would like to propose "enforcement within reason." While I've never done this, there are always going to be a few individuals who get overly excited about an upcoming clan update, and they rush to tell their clans or admins about it. Obviously, this is not the same as leaking screenshots onto Reddit/Twitter/Other Forums, even though it still breaches the rules. In such cases, I think that "intent" and "scale of effect" should be taken into account if someone has (inadvertently) "leaked" information. Obviously, someone who did not have malicious intent and the leak had a small "scale" of effect (i.e. their 5 admins heard about it) should not be treated the same way as someone who posted everything onto Twitter just to ruffle some feathers. Just my two cents on that.

I particularly love this rule. I really think it will help crack down on some of the issues we've been having on the forums (and CL drama in general). It really sets the tone that toxic behavior and lashing out at others won't be tolerated, so I'm excited to see what the future holds. Also if the Fmods are going to begin moderating here, they will definitely be able to tell you who the troublemakers are if you're occupied with clan updates.

I would like clarification on something though. How (if at all) will these new rules translate over to the Discord? I'm pretty sure the Discord will be enforcing them regardless out of good faith, but will there be cross-platform enforcement? Specifically,
would someone's actions in the Discord affect their standing on the forums?
I understand they're two very separate entities, but the Discord and the forum have a very close working relationship that's becoming more intertwined each day. There might be an unethical few who would take advantage of a discrepancy between the two to break CLF's rules in CLD, without actually being banned from the forums for their behavior.
